The term youâ(TM)re looking for is implied, not inferred, speaking of not intellectual. Additionally, the responder failed to address that it indeed does cost money to run the App Store. Yes, I brought that up. Itâ(TM)s not a strawman; it does cost money and App developers literally want to use it without paying the 30% fee. Therefore they want to use the App Store for free. That is not a strawman argument. That is an actual argument. Please go look up strawman when youâ(TM)re looking up the difference between implied and inferred. Have a nice day.

Bro, you canâ(TM)t force Apple to market and distribute your App for free on the iPhone. At the end of the day, it is their product, and they can dictate the terms of use for it. If you want, develop your own phone and app store and do not charge any developers to use it. Oh, it is too expensive? Exactly why Apple charges the fee.

You clearly have not use the App Store. Apple does have promotions of different applications in the App Store and also provides for advertising. Additionally, having a captive audience is a tremendous marketing tool and benefit. Finally, integration with iCloud and other Apple ecosystem products is actually beneficial because it allows a developer to develop a single app that can be used across multiple devices and provide for synchronization behind-the-scenes so that the developer doesnâ(TM)t have to develop everything from scratch.

Then why did they develop an App for the App store? They knew the rules going in. They reaped the benefit and now do not want to pay. No one is forcing them to develop an App to run on iPhone. They can stick to just Android. Your Wal Mart comparison makes no sense. Wal Mart DOES charge a fee to companies for selling their productâ"it is called a retail markup. How else do you think they cover their expenses of running the Wal Mart and also make money? Also, you cannot force Wal Mart to sell your productâ"just as you cannot force Apple to put your App in the App store for free. It is your own analogy than undoes your argument.

Apple has spent and spends a lot of money developing snd maintaining the App store and providing a market for developers. The fee for any profits made from developers selling an App accounts for providing the technical infrastructure and a marketplace and advertising for the App. Therefore, it seems unfair to provide all this for free and allow the developer to benefit and make a profit without payment for Apple services.

I am glad they are banning it. The signs are distracting, and often contain dumb phrases written by an idiot who is neither funny nor interesting. They distract drivers who think there is important information and take their eyes off of the road. For those complaining about advertising billboards being distracting, yes they are, which supports eliminating unnecessary non informative and non emergency messages from signage.

Try to think outside of your tiny little brains for once and understand your narcissistic viewpoint is not the only one that counts, even if it is based on worshipping money. On the one hand, I am against quotas or forcing people to become something. But on the other hand, certain any unnecessary gender specific cultures should be changed. I had a female EE complain she had no one to talk to because there were no other female EEs. But what about EE is female/male (genderwise)? Itâ(TM)s not like designing clothes, where gender does matter. However, any aspect of the culture where her input was not equally regarded or respected would be grounds for a change. And perhaps that is what she really wantedâ"an ally. But that could be someone of any gender. So the process should be to change the culture where necessary.
