Wish I had mod points today. This is the thing I'll never understand, there are plenty of delicious meat free options should you choose to adhere to that type of diet. Eating "3-D Printed" plantburgers or plantsteaks chocked full of salt and chemicals to make them taste like meat seems to me to be orthogonal to a healthy diet. But yeah, I love meat and even I get a taste for a delicious Portobello from time to time. It's not a steak, but it's also not industrial plant-food-product.

Unless of course you don't eat meat because it's "wrong" or some such tripe. In that case I guess have at it. But health-wise, even if you think meat is the worst thing in the world you can eat, one good high quality steak isn't going to kill you and would definitely be healthier than this manufactured plant slime crap. You don't have to eat meat at every meal to be able to really enjoy it. In fact, I recommend only eating it when you can eat top quality meats prepared properly or professionally.

Chernobyl-scale?

Are you on drugs? Chernobyl scale means we literally blew a reactor sky-high. Do you expect people to be so stupid that they donâ(TM)t understand the difference between something like TMI and Chernobyl?

I mean, I donâ(TM)t disagree that most people are that stupid, what with the left erasing all the history books and all, but come on. Most of us on here are old enough to remember Chernobyl, this wasnâ(TM)t a little bit of core meltage and a minuscule amount of radiation released.

Chernobyl was full on âoewe blew the entire thing up in the most dramatic fashion possible.â Conflating the two does a disservice to everyone who may not know better.

It's almost like everyone here wants this to be as deadly and dangerous as possible and any scientific evidence that it ISN'T as dangerous and deadly as we thought is greeted with doom and gloom and hand-waved away. This is GOOD NEWS, if you aren't mentally ill.

It's like the global warming deniers have switched places with the virus-isn't-going-to-kill-us-all deniers who want everything shut down for as long as possible because reasons. Remember kiddos: we can't go back to our normal lives until Billy Gates can shoot us up with his experimantal vaccine - sometime after the first week of November I'm sure - but there is no such thing as immunity to this so even if you have antibodies you're still going to die of covid the minute someone comes within 1000 yards of you with it. Let that sink in, because these are the two statements I essentially hear every day.

For those with goldfish memories: On March 15th, it was 2 weeks so we can see if the hospitals get overwhelmed. Here we are and it's almost July and the same suspects are telling us we can't leave our houses without a mask or go to work until there are pretty much 0 cases. Which will never happen. Two words - fuck off.

The same folks who always trade liberty for security still trading liberty for (perceived) security. It's almost like it's a competition to see who can out-coward each other. But I do wonder how many people on here who were screaming bloody murder about personal freedoms and individual rights for Moslems after the 9/11 attacks are now Karening us that we have to barricade ourselves in a bunker wearing a gas mask until the "vaccine" comes?

Why does everyone keep quoting raw, absolute numbers? When you're testing upwards of half a million a day, 30k a day isn't bad.

Percentage of population tested? Climbing dramatically.
Percentage of tests positive? Dropping to lowest in months.
Number of deaths? Dropping to lowest in months.

Also, remember that the same person getting tested twice and coming back positive counts as two new COVID infections. Additionally, remember that the CDC has stated that the fatality rate is around 0.26% for a COVID infection based on what we know.

Oh, and don't be disingenuous. You *want* to believe this has been mismanaged, because you hate America. I'm sure you would be giddy if a million people could die of this virus so you could wave your fingers next to your head with your tongue out and say "I told you so".

Instead of Facebook and its insidious censorship, we can run our on little Apache web server.

We could run one, until they decided we couldn't.

Every time a commie uses the "muh private company" excuse to censor ideas that go against their programming, they follow up with "if you don't like the rules, build your own".

Then, inevitably, someone goes and builds their own and once they reach a few people, the commies come in to DDoS the site and if it's a message board of some kind, spam it to hell with illegal pornography and swastikas then call their ISP and get them terminated.

Then, if you want it to continue to exist, you have to pay rent to Cloudflare and a large hosting company and a new ISP, and sit all day and moderate, and all the other things that then make it either too much money to bother or too much work to maintain. So no, we can't just run a little apache server anymore, because they decided we have to pay their protection fees or be erased.

Again, show me anything that shows the absolute danger of this drug published before this year. I find it extremely hard to believe a drug prescribed so widely for a multitude of ailments for the last 50 years wouldn't have a plethora of sources showing me these obvious dangers.

Unless you're saying it just so happens to specifically just kill people with this specific coronavirus that emerged recently? If that's the case, ok. Whatever you say, man.
