Until said 'outdated Windows' becomes a security hazard and/or won't run newer programs.

GFY. I ran Windows 7 quite happily until earlier this year, when I was forced to upgrade to Windows 10 for no actual reason other than forced application incompatibility.

Adobe's about to pull the same shit with Photoshop now, with their new image-generation feature requiring Windows 11 for no reason on God's green earth.

Oh, and the last virus I had was called happy99.exe. Got it when I didn't pay enough attention to which RJ45 port I was plugging a cable into.

Yeah, I was pretty angry when Biden added Hunter to his staff shortly after inauguration, and ordered OPM to grant him a security clearance despite literally dozens of undisclosed contacts with Russian nationals.

And then there was the time when Hunter got a $2 billion investment from Saudi Arabia because...

Yeah, I imagine you were as angry as I was when all this stuff happened.

I've never left Firefox, and I've yet to see a change that went against my preferences as a user.

As an example, they revert browser.launcherProcess.enabled back to true every single time a point release comes out. As a result, the common Windows UI paradigm of dragging URLs to folders doesn't work. This is how I've maintained my bookmarks since 1998 or so.

Reverting user preferences for no reason is disrespectful. If I want my preferences to be reverted, I don't need Firefox. Google and Microsoft are fine for that.

That's not how this works. Everybody reading this needs to spend a few minutes surfing through the Commerce Control List sometime. The analogy to a numerical speed limit is spot-on. Either a product falls into a certain ECCN category, or it does not. There is no other way to conduct an export business. If your business exports products from the US, it literally lives and dies by the CCL.

Raimondo needs to be hauled into court to explain her intentions, and soon. If I were an NVDA stockholder I'd be shitting bricks over this.
