... for general data use.
I remember when people had 420mb hard drives and CDRs came out with 650mb of space for a few quid each! Instant full backups for cheap.
Would need 27 of these new discs per 4TB drive for the same scenario today.
No matter what way you spin that (no pun intended) it doesnt sound all that clever. The physical space to store 160 discs would be far greater than to store a disconnected HDD.
I had everything from the NK702, 6210, 6310i, 7250i, 6630 and N95. The N95 was buggy as hell only fixed in the 8GB edition but then the N97 was a dog and so on.
Nokia wanting paying users to be beta testers is what I feel killed them. Bit like I feel about the Pebble watch I bought that doesnt really work.
Its just unlocking more of the safety margin for general use. Either way, an OC'd CPU might fall over and you lose an online game - a FUBAR'd overclocked SSD could result in bye bye all your data.
Superb comment! Fully agree, first thing I thought was why are they using a video that looks like its recorded from a Logitech golf ball webcam from 1994 to showcase this amazing new video tech... then edited it in Movie maker
It wont really, GRC.com did a test a good few years ago and showed not much difference and newer chips have AES-256 instructions built in so its a no brainer.
