Dear AI, please give me an idea for a video game that will be massively popular and make us a lot of money.
Make the same sports game but update the names of the players and teams to be current.
Wow this thing is genius!
Why focus on GNU? Because it's important! If Stallman and crew hadn't created the GNU operating system (the world's first truly Free operating system), we probably would have never heard of the small college project called Linux.
A kernel is not an OS; an OS needs a kernel to function.
Why would you pick the Droid over all the other Android phones?
The whole "you will own nothing and be happy" thing was blown out of proportion. It was a short utopian essay, I read it a while ago. People misrepresent the "and be happy" part to be a threat, to mean "you'll accept the crap you're given and not complain, or else." The essay was more about how goods and services will become so cheap that it won't make economic sense to own certain things.
For example, let's talk about washing machines. Not owning a washing machine sucks, it means you either wash all your shit by hand or schlep all your dirty laundry to a laundromat and back. But what if there was a service that would pick up your laundry, wash, dry, fold, and return it? Let's say this service is $1 a month and they never lose or destroy your clothes. If that were the case, I'd own no washing machine, dryer, or detergent and be happy.
No ads/promoted posts, the userbase is (currently) a bit higher-brow and technical, and it's a bit smaller which is nice because you can't scroll for hours. I also don't think there's admins banning people for being subscribed to other communities. I've been enjoying it ever since Reddit broke my beloved RIF app.
I think this case is a bit different since his software also had a proprietary license available, like qt used to or still has. He likely argued that the GPL was violated by not sharing modifications as required, but the lost money argument comes from the proprietary license not being purchased.
That was my thought: leave the group and do what other manufacturers do and list their products as "HDMI-compatible" without the logo.
Bro, I'm not even a democrat and feel gross that you're making me defend Hillary. Your whole post politically biased. I'm not for or against anything, except the facts. What Hillary did isn't really the same as what Trump did and you'll have to deal with that or just keep being mad on the internet.
From your link: "...knowingly removes such documents or materials without authority and with the intent to retain such documents or materials at an unauthorized location".
Here's a BBC article on it: https://www.bbc.com/news/world...
Having classified info at home isn't a crime, both Clinton and Trump were in the clear on that. The crime is not returning or destroying the documents when asked to by the feds. Hillary did what she was supposed to, Trump did not.
Also it's "lying", not "lieing".
It's not piracy or violating the DMCA if you own the game you're obtaining a copy of. Granted, that's not possible with a game that hasn't been released yet. Showing an official Nintendo game running in an emulator is NOT necessarily promoting piracy.

That could easily happen without this technology though. It will not stop CS reps from hanging up too quickly.
Do the world a favor and lay off the remaining 95%.
If all else fails, lower your standards.
