Speak for yourself. Twitter saves me a ton of time everyday. I use it mostly for professional networking (I'm a programmer). I follow a couple hundred other programmers. Instead of me surfing the web an hour so a day to keep my finger on the pulse of the programming world, the information comes to me in my twitter stream. It's much better than looking for content or subscribing to RSS feeds.

The last XBox live update addressed a performance issue with some "installed" games. It still checked the disc often for DRM reasons, slowing everything down. You may want to uninstall / reinstall and see if anything changes. It may or may not.

GEOS runs on most C64 emus so I'd have to guess yes. However, you can only execute the disk images that are available in the appstore. LAME.

I hope they get it sorted out, but frankly the poor quality selection of games for it has taken some of the shine off the app, especially without basic.

C64GS was a totally different type of market (just a console). The poster may be thinking of that, or the C64C, which was the regular C64 in a redesigned casing that looked closer to the C128.

This movie intentionally leaves a lot of the plot for the viewer to fill in. I don't think things that aren't explained can really be called plot holes.

The movie hints that they did try some sort of cultural integration at first but it went horribly wrong due to the instinctual behavior of 99% of the aliens. Also, I think there are plausible reasons as to why non-MNU scientists are involved in research. One I can think of offhand is maybe they were granted exclusive scientific rights when they took charge of overseeing the prawns.

I can't speak for its current state since I don't play anymore, but AC was very solo friendly. There were tons of quests and dungeons that were doable without a party.
