One reason to wait on purchasing that Sirius radio

We have been working with SIRIUS on a solution to the problem some customers are experiencing with the reduced-strength FM modulators required by the FCC. New SIRIUS receiver inventory is shipping with an FM Extender Antenna (FEA). These units are marked with "FEA" on the box. Additionally, we've seen quality issues with the 12VDC adapter included in some shipments of the 120-0145/162/167 receivers. Units that have an adapter manufactured by DVE (units will have a silver label marked with "DVE") are fine.

The adapters and FEAs are scheduled to be in stores in early February. As for those who have already purchased a Sirius unit from RadioShack in the past couple months, a solution is still pending ("we are working with Sirius to formulate a solution")."
