Journal Journal: Why I hate Opera 2

I can handle opera the form of musical expression ok at times, but I really cannot stand Opera the browser at all. I have tried to like it and have installed practically every new version on my PC only to uninstall it shortly after. My problem with Opera is that it does a real poor job of detecting when web pages have changed and showing the updated page. During yesterday's Woot Off, this problem manifested itself clearly when I went back to the Woot page later in the day and it appeared they

Honestly, I married a 30-year old virgin. I guess she fit the data: non-drinker, church goer, college degree, etc, etc. We decided to wait until marriage to do the deed. Big mistake. Turns out she didn't even know that men ejaculated, etc. "You want me to touch that? Get out of here!" Honest, you can't make this shit up. Oh we had our 2 kids, and had sex once a month for a while. Nothing in the last 7 years. I filed for divorce this past December. Like I said, you can't make this shit up. You are better off with your $20 dates in Springfield.

Submission + - Japanese high tech toilet makers aim for USA (japanesecustomer.com)

Japanese high tech toilets are a luxury item that once tried are hard to resist. A heated seat, a bidet, air freshner and some models even dry, meaning the user doesn't need to use toilet paper. A must have item in Asia, will Japanese high tech toilets find a place in the USA market?"

Submission + - Sun Aiming at 4-for-1 Reverse Stock Split (physorg.com)

eldavojohn writes: "It sometimes signals troubles with stock prices but it essentially means that each stock holder's shares will be quartered while the price of each quadrupled. This doesn't seem to be the case with Sun however. From the article, "CEO Jonathan Schwartz said that having Sun's stock below $10 — where it has been mired since 2002 — created an inaccurate perception that the Santa Clara, Calif.-based server and software maker was still struggling to overcome its post-dot-com era slump. He said competitors pointed to Sun's stock price to sway "naive customers who might not be able to look beneath the surface." Sun's stock has been holding at around five dollars for years now."
