(Translation into Oldspeak)

The Democrat National Committee in conjunction with WHO has approved additional lockdowns, changing previous reports (which weren't wrong, it is the fault of someone else). This shouldn't be a problem since the media is onboard with the DNC and will increase mindless entertainment and false news. This should cause problems for Trump, who we dislike, and will soon be dead. Any disparagement of the above or about WHO is not to be tolerated, only approving thoughts about WHO are permitted.

Remember "Dune"? It is an incredible novel where almost everyone in the book is secretly scheming. For example from the very beginning a wife who loves her husband but knows he will be killed soon, and she can't tell him. She loves her son but will guard the door while he is tortured in a test.

The movie however was a disaster.

Remember "I, Robot" (also by Asimov)? Asimov made it a point in all his books that a robot could not harm humans, except when some humans mucked in the code in "Little Lost Robot" (and it was only 1 robot). Susan Calvin in the books is very grumpy, very brilliant, and very old.

The movie however had ninja-robots (almost) taking over society (violation of the 0-th law) and attempting to kill police. Hollywood completely neutralized Susan Calvin from being a powerful woman to being a beautiful love-struck scientist who needs the policeman who is investigating to help solve a suicide. What???? Where in the books is anything like that???

I have no hopes of Hollywood doing anything good with Foundation.

The CFO was also unavailable having taken an unscheduled vacation to the Cayman Islands with a briefcase full of gold.

Various states were oh-so-careful in closing churches and arresting priests for (gasp) holding mass, even when the mass goers were wearing protective masks. Protesters want to loot and burn. California welcomes them, invites them. Washington state has ceded sovereign territory into a new country ruled by protesters. And most of these protesters are not wearing masks. California and Washington state do not have a problem on this.

These Chinese protests are definitely illegal according to Chinese authorities. So this isn't negative special treatment by Zoom against Chinese activists. Twitter shadowbans conservatives and issues a "warning" label on president Trumps tweets designed to drive people away, and Slashdot cheers. Slashdot comes back with "Twitter is a private company, and can do what they want."

Zoom blocks Chinese activists and Slashdot gasps in shocked horror. "They are a private company and have a duty to unbiased service."

If what is done to president Trump and conservatives is fair, then what Zoom is doing is fair and commendable. If not, please explain the difference. If you respond that Trump is dangerous and sometimes untrue, okay fair enough (I don't agree, but I can agree it is debatable). Zoom can say the same about Chinese activists based on complaints by the Chinese government.

See, I solved that for you.

But yes, CNN is say they *hope* that there will be a vaccine, but that it isn't going to happen. You are stressing that CNN said that they hope there is. But you gloss over that the CNN is actually saying that it isn't going to happen short of a "miracle".

Yes the program is called "Operation Warp Speed". Trump did mobilize a lot of scientific resources and people in putting a plan into action to develop a vaccine. And now there are 135 potential vaccines (so far) in the testing pipeline. The Trump administration did well.

Please, please read the articles on this that mainstream media published. Then tell me, fairly and honestly, do those news articles reflect the reality of vaccines that is happening now? Even better, please find an article by the liberal mainstream media that *supported* Trump and *celebrated* (in April) Trumps announcement that there would be a vaccine this year.
