Some states do have right of way laws, but they might not be the same. You are right in that you do not have the right of way when the intersection is blocked. You are supposed to avoid crashing into someone. When Venus Williams got t-boned in 2017, the other car was clearly at fault, but apparently Florida has some messed up laws.

When that day approaches, start taxing based on milage AND type of vehicle. A small EV does less damage than a large truck or SUV EV. Until then, just increase the gas tax as an incentive to switch to a vehicle that uses less gas. I see enough oversized vehicles on the road and in the parking lots to indicate that gas prices are not a problem.

If they didn't cut pay based on geographical location, then it would allow money to flow to multiple parts of the country instead of concentrating it in a few select areas. You shouldn't force every employee's family to be concentrated in an over priced community. Office space in these places are expensive as well. It seems like a lot of bad decisions that penalizes the company and the employees.

You can mindlessly code, but that can lead to code that works, but it's really slow. For example, I have seen code that requests a massive amount of data from a database over the network, then filter that data to a small list to work on. It would have been more efficient to write a better query that filtered it before sending a terabyte of data over the network.

I've seen a lot of crappy card shuffling algorithms being used when something as simple as the Durstenfeld method is more efficient and creates a perfect shuffle.

Creating a good chess program is difficult. That's amazingly difficult since you have to get good results within a time limit.

Achieving the directive while taking into account cpu/memory limits, network latency, disk io, security, stability, etc requires problem solving skills.

Needle exchanges programs are not strict about you having to turn in old needles to get new ones. If you look up what a typical needle exchange program supplies as a package, it's basically a heroin starter kit. Syringes, tourniquet, cookers, etc. They call it a needle exchange, but it's really a heroin equipment supply program where they will take used needles if you have some.

The operating system shouldn't be a big deal as long as you can run your applications. If you upgrade windows, you're still running the same applications, so who cares? I doubt they could get AP Calculus to work. It's going to have to be an easier version of pre Calculus. Because of how they schedule the classes today, some kids take summer courses so that they can get the prerequisites in time. Keeping everyone at the same slow pace is painful for the stronger students. I'm wondering if they are having trouble finding teachers who are qualified to teach math.

We don't normally use GPS coordinates to identify a location, but if you did give someone GPS coordinates, they would either ask you for the actual street/city name or look it up. If you tell someone B.1.617, they would just look it up and find "Indian variant". If you were talking to someone and they mentioned "Indian variant", would you correct them and say B.1.617 ? You could, but then you would be implying that B.1.617 is the "Indian variant".

It'll have to be medicinal grade heroin and if there are any mistakes made their family will sue for damages. There's the damage done to infants born to drug addicted women, they'll probably need lifetime support. There's the car accidents caused by drug addicts. Some people could have been intellectual superstars if they were never exposed to drugs, but they were, and now that potential is destroyed. And even if it was cheaper to cater to drug addicts, does that mean we should allow people to check out knowing everyone else will be forced to take care of them?
