The WOZ isn't even human. He's an Overgrown Teddy-bear with a brain the size of a greyhound bus.
(Maybe hes a Teddy Ruxpin from 1000 years into the future)
Give the guy a break. He obviously looked up to Steve Jobs and is missing him. Hes also probably feeling a little lonely. So it makes sense to me he would want to hang out with people who share a similar interest.
As for the story of him helping out a lady with a tech problem at an Apple store...I wouldn't be surprised if it were true.
Slashdot should do an Ask The Woz interview. That would be interesting.

OK let me get this right....
We shouldnt trust our teachers to be able to talk to our kids online? So how can we trust them when they are with our kids in the real world?
Obviously we cant. And who hired these people to teach our children???
The Schools did. Why should we trust anyone who would put our children in contact (directly or over the internet) with people we should not trust???
We shouldnt. So The teachers cant be trusted, and the schools cant be trusted.
If the schools cant be trusted then how is it a good idea to leave it up to the schools to decide if teachers (who we cant trust) can have contact with our children online, late at night, with webcams all over??????

Comment The Problem with all of this Security Theater.... (Score 1) 1017

First off all of this 'Security Theater' all assumes that the bombers are stupid.
Here is what a 'smart' bomber would do.
If there doing Pat down at particular airports, use airports that don't do pat downs.
If they change that so that ALL airports do pat downs, hide the bomb or whatnot up your ass.
If the figure out a complete system that stops anything what-so-ever from making it past the screening area....
BLOW UP THE SCREENING AREA. That would have just as a effective result as blowing up some plane. (and if they have a screening area you have to go through before getting to the main screening area blow that one up instead)
As far as I can remember this TSA Screening crap has not stopped 1 single attack, but has come at a huge cost of money and loss of personal freedoms.
Living in a free society has its risks. No one is forcing anyone to live here. If you want to live in a place where its OK to trade liberties and freedom for (the illusion) of safety and security please feel free to leave.

"TSA actions are not clearly illegal"
They are just unconstitutional.
But who needs that pesky old 4th Amendment any way.
If the US Government passed a law saying that it is OK to kill anyone over 65 That would be legal as well.
But it doesn't make it right.
The Government is supposed to be working for us. We do not work for them.
And to those people who are saying that no one is forcing anyone to fly........no one is forcing you to live in a democracy...Go live in Cuba if you like totalitarian Governments so much.
