SNES (and all cartridge-based) games were MUCH more expensive to make than current gen ones. So, even IF games are cheaper now, publishers' profit margins are definitely higher.

The communist government is trying to build up Chinese technology industries and at the same time is giving Xinhua and other state media billions of dollars to expand their presence in foreign markets.
The venture might be a new threat to Google Inc.'s China market share, which has declined since the U.S. company closed its mainland search engine in March to avoid cooperating with Beijing's Web censorship.

Underfoot writes: Oracle said Thursday that it has sued Google for patent and copyright infringement over the use of Java in the Android operating system. The Android operating system uses Java both in its software development kit and a Java-like virtual machine, called Dalvik, in the runtime environment. It is both the SDK and Dalvik that Oracle targeted with its suit, claiming that they infringed Sun's patents. Oracle also claims that Google has infringed its trademarks, including code and documentation. If this suit moves forward, Open Source as a whole could be in for a wild ride.

Pakistani-based militants used mobile and satellite phones in the attacks on Mumbai in 2008, which killed 166 people. The militants were suspected of using Internet telephony, which is widely available, in the attacks.
