Nowhere in this blurb is mentioend the reasons for the precipitous plunge in stock value. First, the company is bleeding money. It lost $58 million on revenue of $4 million. In fact, the company states in its earnings report, "TMTG expects to incur operating losses for the foreseeable future,"

Second, the con artist is trying to find a way to for he and his cronies to sell their shares before the six month lockup period ends. He wants to get his grift in now while leaving the suckers holding the bag (just as he's always done).

Third, the company is so strapped for cash it's considering offering more shares for sale which will of course dilute existing shares and drive down the price.

Fourth, it's the con artist. He has never run a successful business. Every company he's ever run has either gone backrupt and out of business, or bleeds cash indefinitely. One need only look at his Scottish golf course which has never turned a profit in its over decade of existence.

Today's tick up is an anomaly. Possible short covering (though unlikely), or more probably suckers buying in now thinking it can't go any lower.

Interest, dividends, sales of stock/bonds/property, rent collection, and royalties are considered income. The IRS rule is, "income derived from any source". That rule now encompasses income from crypto which is why there is a checkbox on the tax form asking if you've received or sold digital assets in the past year. If you don't check it and you did sell crypto and the IRS finds this out (because the firm you used reported it), congrats, you're in for an audit.

Cruelty was grounds for divorce long before no-fault.

Cruetly, yes, but beating? Not necessarily. If you only do it a little, it's not cruel, is it? There are a multitude of cases where a woman was prevented from leaving her abusive husband because the court, or crown, didn't consider what he did to be cruel. Spousal rape wasn't criminalized in all 50 states until 1993. You think a little beating now and then would be grounds for divorce?

Then you build a straw man that a victim of abuse wouldn't be able to file for divorce because no fault divorce would be illegal?

Here you go.

The irony of no-fault divorces is that the first state law was enacted in California, in 1969, by then governor Ronald Reagan. No-fault divorces were a sea change for women, and they were tied to decreases in domestic abuse and female suicide. As economists Betsey Stevenson and Justin Wolfers found: “States that passed unilateral divorce laws saw total female suicide decline by around 20% in the long run.” The reason for the declines was twofold, Rolling Stone’s Tessa Stuart noted last week, quoting Stevenson; it was “not just because abused women (and men) could more easily divorce their abusers, but also because potential abusers knew that they were more likely to be left.”

And the Rolling Stone article mentioned above.

First off, I would be skeptical of CNN understanding what Republicans want. They are as far biased in favor of Democrats as Fox News is biased in favor of Republicans. It is an opinion piece.

Considering they are literally, in the truest sense, quoting Republicans, it's hard to justify your comment. And CNN is not the only one who is reporting on Republican attempts to get rid of no-fault divorce. A simple search will show this. And no, CNN is not biased in favor of Democrats. When was the lat time you heard anyone on CNN sitting by and letting a Democrat get away with blatant lying, or even doing the lying for the Democrat? The Fox tabolid is notorious for both. They even were colluding with the con artist during the January 6th insurrection by lying who was doing the attacking. Show us anything even in the same continent coming from CNN.

Since you're quoting the Old Testament, are you abiding by everything or cherry picking? That seems to be a favorite topic among Christians, espeically now that they're confronting "woke" churches. Apparently confronting racists and racism is a bad thing. Which is an odd thing to say considering the little book explicitly says their god doesn't approve of injustice:

The LORD detests differing weights, / and dishonest scales do not please him” Proverbs 20:23

God does not approve of partiality, whether we are talking about a weighted scale or an unjust legal system Leviticus 19:15.

Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy. Proverbs 31:8-9

Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause. Isaiah 1:17

And that doesn't even touch on the whole bearing false witness or taking bribes, things which seem to be in vogue now by Republicans.

That design flaw? Carpets were curling under the brake pedal which could prevent correct operation of the brake. Once she informed managemennt, then Musty himself since he said anyone could contact him with any issue, she was out the door in retaliation. A decade later she's still in court fighting her dismissal and hopes she can live long enough to see justice done as she is recovering from breast cancer.

Because of the diversity of life found in the habitats created by corals, reefs are often called the "rainforests of the sea." About 25% of the ocean's fish depend on healthy coral reefs. Fishes and other organisms shelter, find food, reproduce, and rear their young in the many nooks and crannies formed by corals. The Northwest Hawaiian Island coral reefs, which are part of the Papahnaumokukea National Marine Monument, provide an example of the diversity of life associated with shallow-water reef ecosystems. This area supports more than 7,000 species of fishes, invertebrates, plants, sea turtles, birds, and marine mammals. Deep water reefs or mounds are less well known, but also support a wide array of sea life in a comparatively barren world.
