In the studio, my goto for ribbon mikes is a pair of Cascade Audio Fatheads. I use an Ear Trumpet Labs Edwina for a good (not Neumann or Telefunken quality, but pretty good) LDC. I have more, but those are my gotos.

As far as dynamics go, I have a bunch - everything from the oddball (Shure SM-60's anyone?) to the mundane (Shure SM-57s and -58's, a few Sennheisers for miking guitar cabs).

I have a Blue dynamic mike that I use for live vocals, which I love dearly, but the last time I checked at Sweetwater, Blue only seemed to offer LDCs for the studio. And judging from Logitech's announcement, we'll have to say goodbye to those, too.

Blue made some pretty good mikes for live vocals. I guess those will be going byebye soon enough. I doubt Logitech even knows what an XLR cable is.

I've seen plenty of new articles on this, but nowhere do I see the formulary that would be supported. Looks like the marketing goons that are left are all over this one. The clinicians? Not so much.

Let me know when they start shipping silicon of this speed in large quantities. Most folks don't have liquid N2 setups to do this sort of overclocking, either, so that point's a bit moot. Intel's also still a lousy investment financially, which doesn't say much for its future technologically. Maybe the CHIPS act can bail them out, but I don't think it's going to provide enough money to do much. My.Magic Eight Ball says "Outlook not so good" which seems about right to me.

Several three-level agencies still get equipment upgrades via removable media. One could replace the use of floppies or CD's with newer form of removable media, but that might be cost-prohibitive.

Well, to be fair, Torchy's tastes pretty good, albeit not as good as your local taco truck. A bit overpriced, too, but my white privilege allows me to have a good salary. Now if they could only do something about the slow drive-through lanes... First world problems FTW.
