I mainly use it for reminders...

"Remind me to clean my AC filter in 2 weeks"
"Remind me to pay my car taxes on October 25th"
"Remind me to do the laundry when I get home"

Stuff like that and it works great. I don't really use it for texting or notes since it makes too many mistakes but I think that's more of my problem. I feel weird talking to a computer so I talk weird and not loud enough.

As others said you can set it up to wipe after 10 failed attempts.. It also slows down when you do that (it'll start saying please wait 1 minute before trying again, 5, 15, an hour etc).

In addition you can also enable a password lock instead of passcode where you can type whatever long and complex password you want, assuming you don't mind having to type that every time you want to unlock your phone.

I thought so.

Hmm that doesn't make sense. iOS updates are delta updates and have been since they first introduced the feature where you can update on the device itself.

Only when doing complete version upgrades (e.g. iOS 6 to iOS 7) does it download the entire OS. Or if you download updates via iTunes instead of on the device.

I just updated my iPhone 5S yesterday from 7.1.1 to 7.1.2 and it was just a 32mb download.

Comment Hue (Score 1) 196

One of my last purchase was the Phillips Hue starter kit which was like $200. And then I think I got some generic 40W style white LED bulbs for about $16. But I haven't used them yet so I'll just ignore them and go with the Hue and say $200 so I voted "Cost $20 or more"
