I switched to 802.11ac this summer. Loving the bandwidth, until the price drops and everyone thinks they need it.
Next house gets cat6 to every room.
Isn't India an English word?
Thanks Roy, you made things much easier!
Now I know that I need to use full ad blocking on any site running Apache.
Sorry about the complete revenue loss instead of just a minor hit for not tracking, but I guess it's important for you to maintain your integrity, you know, by ignoring my wishes.
If there is something you believe is so wrong that you yourself would never ever do it no matter what, hope to die (and its otherwise consistent with the new testament), than its completely okay as a Christian for you to judge another for it, even harshly.
Because Christ was into the whole harsh judgement thing.
I'll just buy boxes of incandescent bulbs from the illegal immigrant family down the block that brings them in from Mexico and sells them at a fraction of what they had been priced at here before the ban, the same as I buy non-low-flow toilets and shower heads from them as well.
Good for you. Go drive 56 in a 55 if it makes you feel all gooshy inside.
"We're from the government, and we're here to help."
A. Reagan is dead.
B. You're not in his league.
Now make a law that says I cannot buy incandescent bulbs
Fortunately, the law doesn't say that. It says that incandescent bulbs have to be energy efficient.
Now go to home depot, buy an EcoVantage or similar bulb and stop whining.
Basically,
You take a mainframe or UNIX admin and lobotomize until you're ready for Linux.
It's on a scale:
Mainframe -> UNIX -> VAX -> Other big name variants (HP/UX, Solaris) -> Windows Servers/Linux Servers -> Windows Desktop -> Android/Linux Desktop -> Pancakes Mmmm Pancakes -> MacOS -> iOS
Remote access to the registry requires elevation. The HOSTS file needs to be R/W by default due to older software that expects it to be R/W. I'll bet I can put an ACL on it that blocks the antivirus app from touching it, I'll most likely break some legacy applications by doing it though.
Why 'fix' something that isn't broken?
Because it is broken.
Malware can easily change the hosts file and screw you up, it's really a hole in name resolution security.
If Steam went out, I would just download a copy from somewhere else, there's a very Useful Network that might have what I'm looking for.
As I've been told a zillion times, the software is licensed, not sold and I'm licensed. I even have a receipt hiding in some email archive.
After careful deconstruction of the app, I have discovered the VP candidate's name is "Force Close".
No, it's saying you need a well regulated militia, you can join it and it can be armed. It's pretty obvious, otherwise they would have just said "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." and skipped the whole militia part.
They didn't get paid by the word, the line about a militia is there for a reason.
Last I checked, the 2nd amendment doesn't say you can have all the guns and ammo you want either.
Read it, you have the right to join a well regulated armed militia.
I have a better approach to the whole argument.
If global warming is true and we do something to stop it, yay.
If global warming is false and we do something but it turns out to just be a weather pattern, yay, I don't have to drink polluted water and breathe smog.
