250 is too short for longer trips. You can't skip EV charging in a lot of the US, so you have to stop at every one and wait 15-30 minutes. Additionally, many of the EV stations don't have bathrooms after hours.
Have you ever sat down and calculated the environmental impact of actual banks? They have physical buildings, computers, lights, employees that drive cars to work, not to count all the cash registers and credit card terminals at literally every business...

You realize that the US deploys the world's largest military including 10 aircraft carrier fleets to enforce it's fiat.
Bitcoin uses 0.55% of the world's energy. The US military uses quite a bit more.
Large companies do this all the time. They ask for regulation because the smaller guys can't meet all the regulations but the bigger guys can.
Blockchain networks going to decentralize all of this anyways...
