Do you really think these folks are stupid? They're goddamned geniuses.

Also, aliens aren't going to eat intelligent people, for the same reason that intelligent humans don't eat intelligent animals. But, yeah, they'll probably eat the flat-earthers and feminists.

Well, I think you're correct, but that's still of little use. Being propaganda doesn't limit it to uselessness. In fact, you can tell how the shit is hitting the fan by seeing what the propaganda is. All propaganda today IS the news. It's the shit hitting the fan.

As was my plan waaay back in the 90s... "When the shit starts hitting the fan, I'm going to buy a bunch of guns and ammo." So that's what I've done. Now my hope is that in the very near future, I feel really stupid for doing that.

The fact that there's no alternative to listening to the shit hitting the fan, AKA "listening to what American policy makers say", isn't my fault. Those fuckers sit in their ivory towers, as full of shit as possible. We didn't start the fire. It was always burning, since the world's been turning.

But as far as American policy makers, and what they do... that's a whole bat-shit crazy game of lies upon lies upon truth upon lies. No one can help it at this point.

Sitting inside and all of this social distancing is trashing our immune systems.

No doubt, Social Security faces funding challenges, but not immediately and not bankruptcy. Benefits are paid through payroll taxes collected from current workers and their employers, and the program currently operates with a surplus of about $2.8 trillion.

Yet with a rising number of retirees and a drop in the birthrate, that's changing. The latest projection has the combined Social Security trust funds that pay retirement and disability benefits running out of cash reserves by 2034.

But that wouldn't leave Social Security bankrupt and unable to pay any benefits. Even if Congress does nothing to shore up the system by 2034, Social Security will be able to pay out 79 percent of promised benefits until 2090. The last time Social Security nearly depleted its reserves was in the early 1980s, when Congress shored up the program by gradually increasing the full retirement age from 65 to 67 and started to tax benefits based on income levels.

So because you grew crotchfruit, you should endanger others? We have more than enough people on this mudball already. Breeding doesn't make you special.

So what if you can't get laid. What's that got to do with what we're talking about? Not having crotchfruit' doesn't make you special either. In fact, as you get older, you'll just get more and more selfish.

Nobody is asking you to just sit inside.

I don't expect you to have any insight here, but IF YOU DID have kids, you'd understand that it's not a matter of simply going to the store, or walking down the street. Kids sports events are cancelled. Kids school is cancelled. Waterparks are closed. Malls (in my area) are closed for the most part. I work from home now and my children can only spend time on the internet and do chores. This is a lousy way to raise kids.

And as I point out, we've all already had this disease. Us staying inside, only works against our immune system, as we're no longer exposed to the virus. If we could be exposed to the virus more, then our immune system would produce more antibodies.

Yeah, because only selfish bastards can't stay cooped up with their kids for 6 months. I understand your point, it's a valid point for sure, but what kind of life is it to just sit inside?

Of course, I'm saying this as someone who's whole family has already survived COVID19.

My experience with COVID19:
I (42yo) got it first, and was able to ride it out. It took a week of me staying in bed, fluid in lungs, and at one point I felt like it'd be better to just die. But then I snapped out of it. Once I snapped out of it, I felt much better and it seemed like I recovered about 80% overnight. Then it took about a month before I was fully recovered.
My son (10yo) got it next. He experienced an ear infection. This lasted about a week.
Then my daughter (12yo) got it - she developed pneumonia. She was sick, but up walking around and seemed fine, for about 10 days.
My wife (36yo) was just tired a lot. This lasted about 3 weeks.

If you get sick like I did, my advice is to practice NOT coughing, no matter how bad you want to. Once you start, it's hard to catch your breath. DO NOT go the the hospital and get on a ventilator. The hospitals seem like they're TRYING to kill people. Their records system is FUCT, and they're putting A LOT of folks on ventilators that don't even have COVID19 because of this shitty records system. They will evaluate a person with symptoms, and determine that they don't have COVID19. But then they admit them into the hospital room, and when the nurse looks at their chart, they're marked as infected, and they eventually put them on a ventilator, which kills you if you don't need it.
