Both Parties are crooks. How can you blame the voters for an evil choice when the choices are evil and evil?

No, I do not agree that representative government is a lost cause. But I absolutely do believe that American representative government is clearly a lost cause.
Americans have no real choice when it comes to change. Obama has proven that change does not happen, no matter that a would-be president says.
Americans have only two choices. And those two choices have proven time and time and time and time and time again that those two choices are bad choices. The influence of money and corruption permeates all levels of government. The People are utterly powerless to effect any real lasting change. The choices are bad and bad. Whats the point of voting in a two party system?
Wake up America.
Seriously. Wake the fuck up.
Even if you do, I think it may be too late.
You have gone far beyond the pathetic joke of the Western world, and are deep into farce territory. So deep that I truly cannot see any way out for you all.
I dont know if you can climb out of the midden that you have let yourselves slide into. It may be a lost cause.
There is nothing else to say. America as a Leader of the Free World is a long lost naive ideal. But you all have yourselves to blame.
I truly pity you.
News for Nerds, Stuff that Matters.
Serious question here, but how did you determine that you were able to install Windows 2000 Server whilst asleep?
Was it due to sleepwalking?
LOL. You got me. Only objection: there are way more ( more or less attractive ) female actors in that video than there are men. Otherwise.... I think it is, indeed, time to take my dog Keks for a walk. Thank you.
I dont know about you, but I dont see a problem here. It *may* have something to do with the fact that as a guy, I do not find "attractive" men attractive, and it never hurts seeing an attractive woman either. But it also never gets old looking at cute kittehs. awww.
We speak the truth, no matter what!
So when are you actually going to start speaking the truth then?
All I see is lolgibberish.
neighborhoods?
huh?
what are you trying to ask?
Not only does the FAA have to deal with these unauthorized drone flights, they have to deal with leaks from within the FAA to the media. These leakers are publicly stating that they are in no way authorized to speak to the media, freely declaring their guilt.
When is the FAA going to crack down on these officials who are leaking information to the media when they have been banned?
This seems to be happening quite alot, and it seems that these officials are able to leak information with impunity, knowing that nobody is going to get fired for unauthorized leaks.
This is not a good look.
I am sure everyone has seen the recent news that using EEG computers can decipher internal speech. Well, that can be done remotely too using radio waves and its a very old technology. Modern versions use transmitters on satellites and exploit properties of standing waves to penetrate shielding and deep underground. A modern system can track and decode neural signals even 50 meters underground in a moving train, or at 30000 feet in an aircraft. There is no such thing as privacy and if the NSA/CIA wish to listen, there is nothing you or anyone else can do about it.
Stop the cloak-and-dagger, hiding on street corners, that is privacy 1960's style. Welcome to a brave new world.
Dude, you need to adjust your tinfoil hat, you are speaking all sorts of crazy pseudo-scientific gibberish.
Sure, the NSA is listening to our communications, but the shit you are spouting is absolute fiction. I wish it wasnt, because the technology you describe would be stunning and would have amazing far-reaching effects across a multitude of scientific and Engineering disciplines. It would be a massive boon to communications and remote sensing all around the world, and in space.
Maybe you should have a go at writing some science fiction novels, you could make a fair bit of money as an author.
Over the years, I have said quite a few things critical of America and its surveillance state, and of its gun culture, on this site.
Because of this, I think there is a pretty good chance that if I ever went to the US that I would discover that Im on some watchlist, and that travelling there would be quite scary and difficult.
Thankfully there is no reason for me to ever travel there.
Now I can see what they mean by "chilling effect". This is some pretty scary stuff.
The moral of the story?
Dont say anything critical of the US on any digital device. It will come back to haunt you.
Right to privacy?
Do we really have a right to privacy? I tried to find some privacy in this modern age, but there was none.
I was not doing anything wrong, so I apparently have nothing to fear, but I still cannot shake that disturbing creepy feeling every time I use a digital device.
Privacy is dead.
The API **IS** the intellectual property.
Hey, it looks like we are playing the Speak Funny Nonsense Game. Its one of my favorites!
My turn:
"All computer hardware Engineers worth their salt know that the ALU in a CPU consists entirely of cat fur and dust bunnies"
OK, your turn!
Also, it is very wise to never forget that in the US, everybody and his dog has access to guns. It doesnt matter if the shooter is 12 years old or 70, you are going to be shot to death either way.
Over there, you have no choice but to take the death threats seriously. If somebody is coming for you, and they likely have firearms and know where you live, you need to do all that you can to protect yourself.
These threats are not to be taken lightly. They need to be investigated by the police and the crazed shooter needs to be chucked in jail before people are murdered.
Has anyone done the "taking sand for granite" joke yet? It works on so many levels.
No, I do believe that you are the very first. I dont get it, so can you please tell us the joke?
I have a hunch that you somehow think the word 'granite' sounds kinda-maybe like 'granted', but that sounds pretty absurd and I am not going to assume that you are stupid....can you please elaborate?
"the story of the earth will still have subsequent chapters told in grains of sand."
Huh? What the hell does that sentence even mean? Stories with sand-chapters made out of fine ground rock that tells "the story" of Earth...?
I tried to...but I don't even....
