They intend to allow unrestricted repopulation of the area in early 2017. To get the 20 mSev level for 40 days, they had to pick the days right after the disaster.
The radiation levels are actually not that high these days, since most of the continuing leakages is from the poorly isolated holding pond, which they have failed to repair, into the the ocean, as opposed to into the air, which is what happened initially.
Are they actually supervolcanoes?
Or ar they just cosplaying?
5% is not a minority share holder.
Anyone with less than 50% of the voting rights is a minority shareholder by definition. Minority shareholder != Minor shareholder.
He wrote 17 number one selling books and had three of his books turned into blockbuster movies.
More than 3 books became movies. Off the top of my head, Hunt for Red October, Sum of All Fears, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, Red Storm Rising. Would not be surprised to see several more of his works become movies at some point.
The U.S. pays 20% of the U.N. funding, and refuses to fund certain operations against the interests of the U.S..
It's really questionable why the U.S. is paying more than a proportional assessment in any case.
Bite my shiny metal ass.
Go and try Debian. There is a reason why they have a huge following and most of what people like in Ubuntu is there in debian with none of what people dislike.
A town in Alaska has had a CAT as the mayor for quite a while now. I honestly think we can easily replace All of house and senate with ferrets and end up with a group that can get more done.
He gazed up at the enormous face. Forty years it had taken him to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath the dark moustache. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.
Yes I have. so I know this as a fact first hand.
Worked on a SCADA system, Oh dear god it was a disaster in security and the design seemed to come from someone that knew nothing at all about IT let alone how to secure things.
Because the greedy rich assholes make it impossible for an honest normal person to even run for office.
A government website? At least 1.2 million per day to have it up. They pay a staff of 20 per website to sit and click on it and say, "Yes it's still up" and then log it into a special government software to track and report website availability.
That actually would explain a whole lot......
Always done half assed by a contractor that barely has the skills to do the job. Honestly, who was the consultant because they were no talent n00bs in gauging the amount of traffic these sites would expect. Even if it is only an initial spike in traffic they could have EASILY paid for temporary increased infrastructure from places like rackspace to handle the first 3 months easily.
Plus the number of outright failures and nasty bugs being reported makes me even wonder if they tested the sites.
