In my opinion, luminiferous aether was a specific thing that they thought existed. As I understand it, dark energy and dark matter are essentially just placeholders. It looks like there's energy there and it looks like there's matter there. These ideas are not as specific as saying, definitely something with specific properties like carrying light exists.

There's an edge auto start on user log on, designed to get edge running so it looks like it pops up immediately when you click it. It does background junk all the time for some reason and does take a lot of memory.

A family member has a 4 GB ram computer with Windows 10 and it was unusable until I found this and stopped it.

I don't remember how much RAM it was taking, but I do expect that when they roll this out, it is automatically set to a reasonable value based on the installed ram. They won't, but they can. And I still hope they do.

I don't consider that hallucination, if a thing actually exists just under a different name. Of course I don't trust El reg to report accurately, so it's not clear whether hub is actually part of the name or just the name of the parent project. And did the hub project do what the non-hub AI result thought it would.

I have these questions, but I don't care enough to look for more details. It would be nice if I didn't have to.

Instagram was never meant to be a place to share things like news. I know people will always find a way to share information, but if I owned Instagram I would do exactly this. Instagram is for fake happiness. That is exactly how it's used and likely how it was intended to be used. If you want news go somewhere else.

Alternatively, if you do not want news, go to Instagram.

You don't necessarily need a website, just put the GPS coordinates or where it was grown, or the recyclable material type. Not sure about the ingredients, but I'd expect their website to be available as long as the product is being manufactured.

If not, IDK, don't buy it?

There's no database, that's literally the discussion we are having. It's in the barcode. If the manufacturer wants it to be available, it will be.

Not sure what you mean about generic or left blank, there are barcode "resellers" that sell used barcodes for different products, and that pollutes the data. If something is missing... take a picture of the barcode on the product?

I don't think you understand what we're talking about, I can't hold your hand that long.

Barcode scanner tech dating back to at least the 90s has had configuration options to enable/disable specific types. IDK when 2D first hit, but I've never had a device old enough to not support it. Yes at work, and yes in a slowly changing environment.
