Well I'll take that ride from Europe to Australia in under an hour... uh wait... NOT...
You can immediately spot this is a scam, one that probably fooled a number of rich investors :
9000mph = 14000kmh
Earth's circumference is 40000km, so going to 'anywhere on earth' means up to 20000km.
This 'plane' has to reach cruising altitude before accelerating to 14000kmh, then needs to slow down again... so you'd be lucky to get 'anywhere on earth' in 3 hours.
If it weren't in Corona times, they'd probably have a "move-the-border-stone party" with French wine and cheese and Belgian beer and chocolate
Freedom Fries (TM), buy now with your cholestoral health insurance for $15K/month
Trust me when I tell you Belgium and France are in 2 different galaxies
If you use waffles as an example, you haven't tasted the amazing chocolate (like Leonidas) and the beers
Well, they're probably debating who should file a complaint and where it should be filed over a bottle of bad wine
Oh and let's please keep it that way... I don't want to be part of a Bexit
Pretty sure Trump doesn't even know what a mm is... except in the context of guns, so he can get money from the NRA...
We're all sick and tired of Elon, Dogecoin, Tesla, SpaceX and all the other stuff.
Slashdot's title is "News for nerds, stuff that matters". 2m more space in a small country like Belgium definitely matters, especially if we can steal it from the French. It's payback for the French naming fries French instead of Belgian !
This was already discussed at length a few days ago. Quit recycling...
Just like this article, your knowledge of PHP is 9 years outdated. In computing, that's an eternity. It was written when PHP 5.4 was the most recent version, we're now at 8.0. Most of what's mentioned in the article has been changed in some way since.
That doesn't mean there aren't improvements to be made, but every language has issues... and since you seem to love Java so much, I'll quote you : "this guy sums it up way better than I can" : https://tech.jonathangardner.n...
So as you can see, it works for every language... similar pages can be found about Python, C++, etc.
What's most important then ? That the language keeps improving, keeps evolving. And PHP most certainly has and continues to do so. My advice : take a look at what a modern PHP application framework like Symfony looks like and you'll be amazed.
I've noticed several design suggestions in your code.
