Comment Slashvertisement for a shitty game. (Score 0) 28

The online game is nearly impossible to play for any length of time thanks to modders and cheaters. GTA is a substandard racing game, glued to a bad first person shooter, glued to a bad flight sim...

"Cyberpunk 2077 may look better, but it doesn't let you play golf or tennis,"

LOL ...glued to a bad golf game (9 holes on one course is a golf game?), glued to a bad tennis game... etc.

Don't forget that the vast majority of EVs (at least in the US as I understand) technically run on natural gas, with 10-30% loss in transmission from the plant generating it. That's kind of a minus.

I imagine that ideally, the energy needed to run each EV would be self contained on the vehicle. Like super-efficient solar or maybe a Mr. Fusion.

Yes they have. When we look at the excess death rate compared to earlier years we can see that COVID deaths are being massively under-reported.

Wrong.

Less Fox News for you.

Fox is controlled opposition. You aren't smart enough to understand that? Sad. I do not own a television - you do? You are a Signal Zombie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Of course. That's why we combine case numbers with total tests and positivity so we can get an accurate picture of how a virus is spreading. But if all you ever concern yourself with is what your favourite right wing talking heads say they'll give you one number and then complain that it's wrong.

Maybe you should surround yourself with smarter people.

Oh wow! Nobody who disagrees with you ever thought of that! Moron.

You should surround yourself with people who challenge your ideas, instead of feed you lies.

800,000 dead so far. More than two world wars combined.

Stop. Everyone knows they've been fudging the numbers. "Died with covid", etc. There cannot be a rational discussion about this until certain folks admit that testing processes are deeply flawed, leading to inaccurate case numbers, and treatment methods involving remsevidir/ventilators are straight up fucking malpractice, which is what has killed many of those people.

1. A lot of people are NOT dying of Omicron.
2. If ICUs get overwhelmed, it just might be because hospitals have fired 30% of their nurses.

Your quote betrays your ignorance. Consider those of us with IQs that place us in the 98%th percentile. There have been MANY times in our lives that 98% of the people around us have been very wrong. Happens every day.

You are a liar, and evidently more stupid than you thought.

Bruce66423 writes: With bank balances of $200m, a $100m endowment and necessary running costs of about $10m, why are they rattling the collecting tin again this year, implying the 'need' our money?

'The WMF holds assets of $240m (£181m), which is an impressive increase of $49m from a year ago.... In 2013, WMF’s then vice president of engineering and development and its deputy director, Erik Möller, calculated that the Foundation could be sustainable on “$10M+ a year”. This went well beyond what was needed for “bare survival”, Möller explained, and would comfortably cover hosting, new equipment and back office fees like legal expenses.... The WMF has ballooned from a half a dozen staff to over 500, with many on six-figure salaries..... Whether it’s children, veterans or unloved animals – they all deserve your £2 more than Greedimedia.'

When is enough? Has the internet become so much more hostile that it needs so many techies?

End the IRS. It was supposed to be temporary (lol, right).
End the scam known as social security.
End the TSA. They are theater, and a waste of everyone's time and money.

Smaller government is the way to reduce friction with the government.

Also, given that I have 1/3 of my portfolio in pharma, I don't want to hear any complaints about 3rd 4th and 5th jabs being mandated. In fact, If we can get taxpayers to pay for monthly or weekly injections, that would really be nice.

The first time I tried to pair a car and phone was, I think, 2009. Moto flip and BMW Z4. Nothing but trouble. Bluetooth audio is still rubbish today with my iPhone 11 and Lexus. Small 1/4 second gaps in the audio every few songs. Phone audio quality is awful.

I also have bad luck with bluetooth headsets. Motorola, Plantronics, Samsung, all the majors. Samsung was the best, but didn't stay paired, and died after a year.

Has bluetooth audio every been any good?
