Dalai Lama is a political hack, like every politician that aims at the populous, he likes to give meat to the idiots that listen to him.

That tactic is no different from your favorite political hack and religious leader, ron paul. Your leader also gives substance to followers who grab on to his words. The difference though is one group is concerned with the impact of their devotion on the rest of the world - and it is not yours.

That, and one group believes their leader is the latest resurrection in a long line of leaders, while the other openly worships their leader and holds him as the pinnacle of humanity who is the greatest philosopher in the history of mankind.

TFA isn't there to give you any more information about negative temperatures, it's a political hack job.

It takes one to know one, eh? You find a way to squeeze in your religious and political ideology into any argument, regardless of whether or not a rational person would find a way for it to fit in.

While reading TFA I realised that it had nothing to do with temperatures or quantum physics

Do you even know what quantum physics is? You never took physics at the university. I would wager you wouldn't recognize quantum physics if it was presented right in front of you.

it was a socialist propaganda page.

Considering you did not take - or miserably failed - economics, you likely wouldn't be able to correctly recognize socialist propaganda, either.

Patents are none of governments' business, that's the reality and that's the only way actually to fix the real problem.

Patents are to ensure that the proper credit goes to an inventor. Without patents as soon as you start to produce a new invention, anyone who wanted to could copy it with no repercussions, even if they copied your name and sold a terrible product under it.

And since you want the legal system to be sold to the highest bidder, an independent inventor would have no hope of success with any action if a large company decided to rip off their creation.

WHY do you hate inventors? You seem to hate inventors just as much as you hate working people.

if you think that posting with a nick like that will do a better job at getting responses rather than posting as AC, then you are delusional. Here is the first thing I do when I read comments: read who wrote them. If it's an AC, I read the first line and I know whether to skip reading the entire page or not, it's obvious. Your nick is exactly the same thing, except I can skip reading even the first line.

And I was moderated up to 1, while roman_mir has been mostly downmoderated to -1 for trolling. Hence I did not need you to read it, AC; other people already did and realized who was factual versus who was pulling shit out of thin air.

But thank you for sharing your opinion.

Government isn't authorised to run a highway system

You don't know much about the interstate highway system, do you? The federal government does little to run it. They dole out the money to the states, who are free to do what they want with it within rather broad confines. The federal government suggests speed limits but doesn't actually force them to be at their suggested levels.

Obviously driving licenses are a private matter between private road operators and the drivers

And you are free to drive on private land as much as you like, provided you have permission from the land owner. Government has no say on that matter.

Actually nobody needs to be forced to own a license

And nobody is "forced to own a license". If you don't want to drive on public roads, you don't need a driver's license. Amazing how that works, isn't it?

government is not supposed to be able to use it as identification either

The federal government does not recognize a driver's license as identification as they are issued by states. States have the freedom to use them for what they want.

Actually 911 shouldn't be federal issue at all

The only thing federal about 911 is the number itself. If you would prefer that every state or county have its own emergency number, you can make that argument, but the federal government doesn't do squat with the 911 system.

There is plenty of business opportunity there as well.

You mean like the large number of private ambulance companies in this country? Indeed lots of people are making money off of 911. There are also companies like ADT and lifeline that are making money by sending automated requests to 911.

Submission + - Ron Paul Blasts NRA, Liberals Over Gun Issue (usnews.com)

ronpaulisanidiot writes: Departing libertarian congressman Ron Paul (TX) gave another defiant speech on the house floor in response to the efforts of liberals to increase gun control while the NRA calls for armed guards in every school.

While I certainly agree that more guns equals less crime and that private gun ownership prevents many shootings. I don't agree that conservatives and libertarians should view government legislation, especially at the federal level, as the solution to violence."

Furthermore:

"Real change can happen only when we commit ourselves to rebuilding civil society in America, meaning a society based on family, religion, civic and social institutions, and peaceful cooperation through markets."

There is no black hole destroying a star system, that is for-sure. Black holes are just something fabricated by government employees (physicists) to distract you from the truth. The star system is being destroyed by the government itself, make no mistake of it. Only through the power of the free market could it ever be restored, as the free market is itself perfect.

The same will play out in the united stated without a doubt, unless ron paul is elected.

Submission + - Natalie Portman Marries Choreographer from Back Swan (latimes.com)

ronpaulisanidiot writes: You know her as Queen (or Padme) Amidala. Or Eve from V for Vendetta. Or any of a number of other roles. A while ago she became "mom" to a newborn boy. Now, she is also "Mrs. Millepied". Natalie Portman has married the choreographer from "The Black Swan".

No word on whether any grits were involved.
