Don't throw shade at the US over this. Europe is so much worse about it. That's why there aren't any Jews left there. Fun fact, my next door neighbor is a Jew from Europe who left with her family in the 1990s because of all the causal antisemitism in Denmark. So, glad you are on the right side, but don't turn this into a US vs EU debate, it isn't in your best interest.

That is just an egregious lie. Hamas has lobbed missiles at civilian population centers (which is a war crime) in Israel every day for almost 2 decades now. And the IDF didn't enter Gaza except during wartime. How on earth did you get such a false idea in your head? The Palestinians have chosen war consistently for 75 years. That you somehow get this backwards is truly amazing. I think you just don't understand that the "West Bank" != Gaza. You probably read headlines about the IDF going into the West Bank which is occupied by Israel with Gaza which isn't. But now because of 10/7, they both will be occupied. So it probably won't be a problem for you going forward. So don't let my facts stop your decent into antisemitism.

Israel on the other hand sends in untrained , terrified 18 year old conscripts who are terrified and shoot at everything and call in air strikes and artillery for everything. Heck they even shoot Israeli hostages. This is by design. Israel wants to maximize collateral damage because they want the Palestinians to leave. Hamas is only the excuse.

This is just a bold-faced lie that could only be believed by someone who knows nothing about these things. Also, the Kashmiri don't engage in the same tactics as Hamas uses. I assure you, the IDF clears plenty of buildings with well trained infantry. And the fact that the IDF has precision weapons and India doesn't probably matters a bit in which tactics are used. Those are wildly different situations. The only similarity is that it is religion driving the conflict.

I'm not sure you can take anything from the BBC or CNN on this conflict as reporting. You have to throw it all in the propaganda barrel. They have been caught telling boldface lies about this conflict multiple times and in such egregious ways that you have to use sources like France24 and DW. BBC and CNN have disgraced themselves too much to be taken seriously right now.

Um, no. So you have to understand just how underhanded Hamas is. Hamas has actually taken aid workers and vans hostage before and used them to transport munitions and other things. It sort of makes sense because the IDF has really good recon. But given that, if you are an aid worker in Gaza, there is a non-zero chance you will be forced to aid Hamas's military goals at gunpoint. So if you go in, you won't have the same protections as most war zones. I have also never seen it pointed out that Hamas will use aid workers as cover and force them to move arms for them. Plus, I have seen aid vans get hit and generate secondary explosions consistent with military munitions. When that happens, that's no longer an aid van and the people in it are no longer non-combatants. Its not much different from the penal battalions that Russia will use. I have heard interviews with aid workers returning from there that confirm all of this and from multiple aid workers from multiple organizations. BTW, Russian has killed far more aid workers in Ukraine in the last year than have died in Gaza. But those death don't generate clicks and these do so guess which one you know about?

Isreal roof knocks. That means before a building comes down, anyone nearby gets a text message telling them which building is coming down. So if anyone is underneath one of those buildings, it is their own fault. Truth is, nobody is under those buildings. The reason the buildings are destroyed is to block their tunnels. And that strategy worked. And now you are claiming there are people under there. And nothing I am saying is unknown or disputed in any way. But you still didn't know it. Instead you just parrot Hamas propaganda. Did you ever wonder why Isreal is the only country who has ever roof knocked? Did you ever wonder why Isreal is the only country who is expected to give aid and services to those attacking them. Also, why is Hamas, who breaks every rule of war and does things that even ISIS didn't do, given a free pass on their war crimes? Huh, weird...I feel like I understand the 1930's so much better today than I did a year ago.

You are reading that wrong. Global output of Li-ion batteries is about 35 GW/hr / year. That's actually how many batteries are made. Your article says Li-ion manufacturing capacity as in if the Li-ion factories all ran 24/7 how much could they make. Li-ion production isn't limited by capacity of manufacturing. It is limited by the amount of Li available. All that says is that governments are bad at spending money as they have vastly overbuilt (thus wasted) Li-ion manufacturing.

No, its just too hard for you and you are projecting your own issues onto a piece of technology to make yourself feel better. C++ is quite a nice language and there are times to use it. There are plenty of times to use something else. Right tool for the right job and all that. Also, assembly and machine are not the names for the things you are referencing. There is assembler which is a CPU independent instruction set and there are chip specific instruction sets that are created by translating from assembler. Assembly refers to all of these instruction sets. So since you don't even know the correct names for those things, I seriously doubt your opinion of C++ is worth anything.

No, its about languages used to write new code, weighted (heavily) by how poor the developers in that language are. PHP has the "advantage" of having a lot of poor developers who post lots of questions to reddit. Java on the other hand has far more programmers who end up asking fewer questions. That isn't because lots of code isn't written in Java. Its because a lot of people who should be working at Starbucks got jobs writing PHP code. And that doesn't really translate into new LOCs the way it is implied by this index or you. And it especially doesn't translate into what language is processing your web clicks.
