It gives you plenty of information and tool descriptions to test your own setups as you put them together. This, to me, was always the hardest part. Building LibreSSL fro source for the hell of it is also useful if for no other reason than getting the updated man pages. Just sayin'.

This book + wireshark = very, very informative, esp. if your background is in hardware design and not networking...

Submission + - Offering wi-fi access as a small business

If someone commits an "internet nasty" while using our wi-fi, where does the liability lie? No lawyer we ask has any idea. Our ISP has no idea. Anyone here offering wi-fi to customers as a small business? Does one have to use some sort of paywall with a disclaimer to get around legal liability? For the record, these disclaimers never hold up in court....

The would-be rally has been dubbed 'Restoring Truthiness' and was inspired by a recent post on Reddit, where a young woman wondered if the only way to point out the absurdity of the Tea Party's rally would be if Colbert mirrored it with his own Colbert Nation.'"
