Key layout it's been the same for 100+ years. Can't you just memorize it? It's not that hard.
I'd say, no backlight and sturdy non-chiclet keys like they use to have.
I wish all the manufacturers (specially lenovo) stop copying Apple's 'cool' designs.
This is Thinkpad we're talking, people don't look up on classic models for the color if the Enter key, but because they were trusty machines, unbreakable, good battery life, mate high resolution displays and a very good keyboard for a laptop.

Submission + - Sourceforge staff takes over a user's account and wraps their software installer (arstechnica.com) 11

An anonymous reader writes: Sourceforge staff took over the account of the GIMP-for-Windows maintainer claiming it was abandoned and used this opportunity to wrap the installer in crapware. Quoting Ars:

SourceForge, the code repository site owned by Slashdot Media, has apparently seized control of the account hosting GIMP for Windows on the service, according to e-mails and discussions amongst members of the GIMP community—locking out GIMP's lead Windows developer. And now anyone downloading the Windows version of the open source image editing tool from SourceForge gets the software wrapped in an installer replete with advertisements.

Some quotes:

The Fajr (Dawn) satellite was successfully placed 450km above Earth on Monday

The satellite was locally made, said the official IRNA news agency, as was its launcher

Fajr satellite, weighing 52kg would be able to take accurate pictures from space.

the 21-metre and 26 tonne launcher, named Safir-Fajr, shows "the ability of Iran to build satellite launchers".

You're attacking the problem by over engineering the solution.
That's usually a bad idea, against the KISS principle and the "do the least amount of work to complete the feature" rule.
If the BAs were right, you'd end up with bunch of complex unnecessary code to test and maintain and you'd be running against the schedule for no reason.

I think the real goal would be to have all vehicles self-drive; then they can be coordinated to interlace at intersections, removing the need for stop lights and saving a ton of fuel!

However there are people that don't have cars and need to walk. Will the car overlords consider allowing us mere pedestrians to cross the street?
