+5 Rational. I wish I had mod points!
Hmm.. I've got an MCP61-based AMD system, and it also has PCI-Express 2.0. YMMV?
I think OP's point was, say you have 4G of non-ECC RAM. It would be neat if you could turn that into, say, 2G of "RAID RAM".
Yeah? Every time I see them write "DP", well.. I guess I've seen too much porn.
Really? That is some good news as well. More solutions is better, esp if it helps smack nV around a bit and gets devs off CUDA+PhysX.
PhysX is the only one that had a true hardware solution (the P1 PhysX cards, previous to nV purchase). That said, AMD has been porting Havok iirc to OpenCL for use on their hardware for fancy things like cloth mesh.

Exactly. What if Apple chooses this opportunity to make their ARM variant of OSX available to the general public? I know, never gonna happen, but I'd bet they're working on an A9 chip for either their tablet or a MacBook Mini (hint: rumors are that MacBook and iMac lines will see refreshes in next month or so).
TCP/IP is pretty damn close to an "essential" part of the car.
You just made my head explode
I honestly don't know, why is it needed? Isn't this the third one in about 5 years now?
Numeric stability is probably not all that important when you're guessing.
