The memo is rife with ammunition including:
“I hear things like this: Let’s make something like the iPhone.”
“When everybody (both consumers and the industry) talk about UX, they weigh it against the iPhone. The iPhone has become the standard. That’s how things are already.”
“Do you know how difficult the Omnia is to use? When you compare the 2007 version of the iPhone with our current Omnia, can you honestly say the Omnia is better? If you compare the UX with the iPhone, it’s a difference between Heaven and Earth.”

BC Hydro here allow kids to put murals on the boxes like this and they also wrap a lot of the boxes in flowers and tree photos to blend them into the environment..

The documents were released to defence lawyers for George Zimmerman, who is accused of second-degree murder over the 26 February killing in Sanford.
Officer Timothy Smith said: "I could observe that [Mr Zimmerman's] back appeared to be wet and he was covered in grass, as if he had been laying on his back on the ground. Zimmerman was also bleeding from the nose and the back of the head."

RdeCourtney writes: Music site RnBXclusive.com has been shut down by the UK's Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca).
A takedown notice warned visitors who have used the site to download music they could face up to 10 years imprisonment and an unlimited fine.
Soca said music posted on the site was "stolen from the artists" and may have "damaged careers".
A man has been arrested for fraud and bailed pending further enquiries, police told the BBC.

RdeCourtney writes: A judge with the US International Trade Commission ruled today that HTC violated two of Apple's patents in a year-long case filed last March. Apple had accused HTC of violating 20 of its patents, and filed a second complaint this week, claiming infringement of five more patents. HTC has said it will appeal the decision.
- U.S. Patent No. 5,946,647 on a "system and method causes a computer to detect and perform actions on structures identified in computer data."
- U.S. Patent No. 6,343,263 on a "data transmission system having a real-time data engine for processing isochronous streams of data includes an interface device that provides a physical and logical connection of a computer to any one or more of a variety of different types of data networks."
Both of these patents are at issue in the lawsuits between Apple and Motorola as well.
