Skylab did it's mission, HAve you been in Skylab II? I have, it's sitting there at space camp in Huntsville, AL. I was able to get past the glass and walk around. it was incredibly small and not much science could get done in it. mostly it was to make sure that humans did not get space madness after extended stays in low gravity.

"I don't see how parents have anything to do with this."

I do, I see very low IQ parents causing the problem. Giving a $300 easily broken glass device to a toddler? Not bothering to learn that it stays logged in for a short time afterwards for purchases?

I cant break the law and claim ignorance.... The judge needs to smack these "parents" with clue by fours. If you are too dumb to use the technology, you should not have the technology.

The Audiophiles never really had a good market.

We have records, with good speakers. That is the best we got. However if you play the records over an over again their sound will degrade and they require a lot of Work to keep in good condition.

Then we had Magnetic Tape, Quality had dropped a bit, however they lasted longer and worked on portable devices.

Then we had CD's quality is better then tape, but not quite up to the record. However with a little bit of drop in portability it was still useful. But the CDs were more fragile and needed more care.

Then we went to Digital Music. To gain portability we lowered the quality below CD but above Magnetic Tape. Easier to maintain, and extremely portable.

Now all that said, most Audiophiles in a blind listen wouldn't tell the difference between a CD and most modern Digital Music formats. They may be able to tell the difference between a good record and a Cassette tape. Now most people are not audiophiles, and really do not care that much. and are going to plug in Dollar store earbuds to their devices and be rather happy, just as long as they don't get buzzing.

The Senate amendment replaced the entire bill. That's not an amendment. That's a senate bill with an inaccurate title.

Further, the House did not pass HR 3590 as it was passed by the Senate, which makes the entire conversation academic. If the House didn't pass the bill, there was nothing to amend.

You are using light and mirrors to try and prove your point.

I'm not trying to prove anything. You are attempting to fit a transcendent concept into your limited understanding and failing at it, then blaming the universe for your own limitations.

There are some things you cannot understand, in much the same way a muskrat can't understand the New Jersey insurance code. That doesn't mean the New Jersey insurance code doesn't exist.
