I spent hours as a kid play joust.
Maybe these bozos should worry about making a descent game before worrying about pirating...Operation Flashpoint was way ahead of its time when it came out...Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising was the worst game I've bought in the entire past two years. Whether your games are being pirated or not is no reason to make a game that bad. Hell the pre-order price was 59.95 within two months I could buy it on Steam for $10. As far as the scheme for DLC is concerned they didn't have any. I still boot it up every now and again to see if they may have done something right but now they have even completely stopped supporting the game. Why should people purchase a half finished game from a company who has shown that instead of finishing a game and providing DLC for it they just give up and move on?
How about you read above posts, it has been pointed out that this article has been translated twice using a standard translation program and everyone who has ever used on knows that they suck when it comes to translating some languages and words.
Interesting. I play online alot and one of the guys that I talk to daily is a Canadian EMT/College Professor who teaches EMT...He hates the Canadian Medical system and rants at us for even dreaming about copying it in the US.
I don't agree with this statement either. I have a list of probably 100 or so friends on Steam that all play MW2 and none of them are cheaters...hell thats what 3 servers right there.
Not sure I agree with the statement that this rules out the networks online viewing.
I regularly watch Fox.com and CBS.com because I'm not at home when Bones and NCIS come on...and I still get annoyed at all the commercials. The have a commercial every 5 to 10 minutes just like when watching on network tv.
I don't think that would work....what I would expect to see if they actually try to do this would be costing me more than buying the game. I play a game til I beat it...yes if i beat it in 2 days like I did Gods of War then it would be worth paying limited use fee (renting). On the other hand I still haven't gotten around to finishing FFX which I've owned for 2 years. In that case I would have come out cheaper buying the game out right.
That is awesome!
Yeah I agree to a certain extent. Speaking as an owner and avid player of Vegas 2 it is worth the money and highly enjoyable if you have friends and want to play Terrorist hunt or Versus.
I have the same issues with these companies not putting out a descent demo anymore. I usually wait til someone puts a torrent up and then I try it...if I like it I go buy it, if not then it gets deleted...what I had to do with Vegas 2 and with NFS Undercover.
Been using BitTorrent, BitComet, Azureus, OneSwarm for at least 10 yrs now and never had this problem. I have a standard cable modem running thru a linksys modem the entire time....never had any problems and I connect to more than 500 at a time...what OS are u running and what are your system specs?
Actually "wedges" was coined in the book Mother of Storms by John Barnes to refer to people's extracted memories.
I've looked at the listing, and it's right! -- Joel Halpern
