who wants people to buy
disks and games and DVD...
Unfortunately,
unless my boss gives me more money
I cannot spend money on MMO plus other media.

AFAIK Luke, Han and friends did not collide with some giant Hydrogen ollider.
They just nearly collide with a giant artificial moon.
a few days back this have been prooved to be correct
people using accessibility of the GNOME desktop contributed by Sun will have to change (Orca screen reader, a project led by Sun's Accessibility Program Office). Killed by Oracle.
"the accessibility of the GNOME desktop will become the open source equivalent of an unfunded mandate, doomed ultimately to fail."
http://news.slashdot.org/story/10/02/09/0024241/Oracle-Drops-Suns-Commitment-To-Accessibility
Now they have to migrate to Oracle Product.
"Oracle is committed to creating accessible technologies and products that enhance the overall workplace environment"
http://www.oracle.com/accessibility/index.html
This sure is too costly to work with open source.
Cost of change for these users will be high.
They would have better commit to closed source solutions such as Oracle in first place.
After all it is very well known that companies never kill their product line and have stable roadmaps.
after bobbies
here come robbies
to catch robbers
raised with teletubbies
I am addicted to lazyness
may I get 45 days off ?
what strikes me even more is
"Despite the admitted network failure, leaders of the attacking force do not expect CCP to replace lost ships, claiming that it was their own fault for not accounting for server failures"
in most if not all other MMO
they would whine & petition for compensation
first semester 2009 CCP deleted 30'000 accounts they identified as farmers
their team of economics analysts confirmed impact with saner enconomy after the "holy rage" operation

what will it be when a news gets the liberia slashdot effect ?
> You start in a room, no idea what's going on [...] You have to read the manual and supporting media to get a grip on it all
looks like my own life
born in room
no idea what's going on
need to read holy book (manual) to get a grip on it all
ans life seems laking sense if I don't follow the book
at least a game is WYSIWYG
which is not the case with life
"Where Should We Focus Our Space Efforts? "
Even before going to moon, mars or enywhere else.
Make sure HAL don't kill David and everyone during the trip.
BTW we missed first odyssey launch date, next is only next year,
we will probably not have time to get prepared.
Sure Amiga still rocks !
Who will build an Atari ST grid ?
Most of people around me
who are not nerds
hardly understand what a "program" really is.
and fewer know where to download "free" software.
Even less know where to get pirate software.
And most of humanity is like these people I know.
I hardly believe this 42% figure.
However it has been known for ages (80's)
that pirate software often come with unwanted "goodies".
"Mr. Sarkozy would be subject to having his Net disconnected the next time he pirates something"
As president / head of France does it mean whole France would be disconnected ?
are current games using network technology to push new value ?
or do they use network technology to push old value ?
when internet was non existent,
games were obviously oriented to the gamer,
not to relations with other players.
still look at first network games
in 93 I played Doom and we played more coop than PVP.
And i played it not over Internet but in LAN.
therefore games are more coop nowadays
because coop is much easier with Internet.
"72% of Banks Say Their Employees Committed Fraud"
is much better than

You will have many recoverable tape errors.
