It's only a security threat if you can't trust the site that the programs are originating from. Sure, this search engine *may* be able to dump a tracking code into their output and therefore break the TOR privacy[1], but you have to ask how likely to happen is this? And my answer: very unlikely.
Please. If you do not understand the fucking problem. Do the world a favor and shut the fuck up.

QUERY: - Why are there a hundred articles about Firefox, but nada about Mozilla/seaMonkey?
Because Firefox is Firefox and nobody really knows what the fuck Mozilla was, is, or is going to be. seaMonkey is just about as ambiguous.
Why do you think they renamed the browser in the first place?
Slashdot is basically a software shop. Ship it with bugs, let the users find them later for you (you know after the damage is done.)
And in reality this world is just as dangerous if not worse.
Gun ownership is not the problem, criminals and retards getting a hold of them is.
Education is the only way any country will handle smoking cigarettes and the only way the USA will handle its gun problem.
Or a bad thing for the long term, which is exactly what London is experiencing now.
Use fine sandpaper or even better, a sharpening stone, to create a sharp edge. This edge will be where the vertical edge meets the horizontal surfaces. Not only does sanding increase the chances of your victim being cut but sanded glass is less likely to chip along the edges and has some added strength. sorta source
I came here to ask, will dell release a version with ubuntu on it? If so im down. It'll be shit but it won't be i-crud.
