So, if a guy robs a bank, he gets arrested.
If a man downloads a copyrighted film illegally, he gets arrested.

Now, if it just so happened that you were the one who gave the guy the key to the vault he robbed or something, wouldn't you expect to be arrested too? Same thing here. IANAL, but this would probably be covered under aiding and abetting...

Pro-piracy, FYI. Just saying that it doesn't make any sense that you can give them the "key" to the illegal item and then not face any legal trouble for doing so.

Kinda disappoints me..I'm the kind of guy who never finishes games, but Mirror's Edge was one of those games that only come along once every 5 years or so, the kind that rips me in and won't let me go until I beat it. It was horribly difficult, I died practically every other minute, and I loved every second of it.

The fact that the team's being shuffled to an FPS just disappoints me even more. We need more innovative games like this, not more shooters. The military craze has led to essentially the same game...how many different ones can you play before it's cheaper to just enlist in the army?

Again, not everyone has a cell phone. For a lot of people such as myself, they're not a viable option, whether finanicially, or just because there's no need for one. I'm never so far from a phone that I think "it would be great if I could call someone right now without walking to the nearest phone.

Sure, there's other ways of doing the authentication, but..it really shouldn't ever be something mandatory. It's a fucking email account. If someone actually wants to have to jump through hoops for extra security, then they can have a normal account and use another one just for hoopjumping. I know that's what I'll do, and it seems like a really good idea.

Personally, I find this to be a case of "most people are so stupid about security and passwords that we're just going to try to please everyone".

Y'know that slavery thing? Happened couple hundred years ago? Yeah, well, we've discussed it, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand..we're pretty much over it. It's cool, you can stop trying to frantically make us think it never happened.

Oh, the native americans? They don't give a fuck either. They won, White man. They have casinos and money and everything else. So yeah, you can stop trying to appease us like an angry volcano god.

From my experience, a big part is not needing a wiimote. It also tracks movement extremely well. I'm a rather portly gentleman who tends to wear loose flappy clothes, and it has no trouble dropping a skeleton overlay over my limbs.

I can't see using it in something delicate like surgery, though. I do notice a definite bit of lag with the kinect that the wii doesn't get, but I digress. It's a much more complex piece of equipment, and far more worthy than I originally deemed it upon learning I wasn't going to be finding an xbox that didn't come bundled with it. It's worth having, if only to hold for when some decent open source software gets release.

Not to mention it's the same price as a wii, but offers beaucoup options for those of us who don't enjoy only wiimote gaming.

Have these guys ever disrupted any company significantly?

While in the IRC channel during the beginning of Operation Payback, I was informed that the bank they attacked (postfinance.ch) was incapable of online banking for several hours thanks to them. Since then, I've heard claims of rendering online banking unusable for as long as 10 hours.

Take that with a grain of salt, he may have just been a jackass trying to up morale.
