ESX is what an enterprise uses to have mass virtualization of many servers. For a home user, you only need Workstation and the hardware will determine the performance. Or you could just go with Microsoft's free virtualization software.

But, now that I'm old, working full time, and have a family, I just don't have any energy left to get into fights with my desktop OS just to get some Dora The Explorer video to play for my kids.

While reading all the posts on here, I'm always curious to know the posters' backgrounds. Are you a MD? A university level professor? A plumber who dabbles in particle physics in his/her spare time, etc. I think everyone should finish their posts with their credentials : ) I have a BS in CISM and support regulatory software in Pharmaceutical companies. Not that anyone cares since this is non-informational, but I would have felt like a hypocrite if I didn't ; )

Considering there aren't fiber optics inside the silicon, the speed of light shouldn't be relative. It's the speed of electricity, which is much different/slower than the speed of light. Unless I'm missing something? Please correct this if I'm wrong.

If we're wrong, what do we lose? We "tried" to live our lives according to principals like love your enemies, love and respect your spouses, have integrity, put others ahead of ourselves, live selfless lives, take care of the poor and widows. Follow Jesus' examples. Be good stewards of what God has given us (including the earth).

If you're wrong, you spend eternity in hell, where there's grinding/gnashing of teeth, unquenchable fire, eternal separation from God.

I'll take my chances with God. I like the odds better. Keep in mind that it's NEVER too late to accept Him.
