Great come from behind win against Mexico at a heavily away team favoring Soldier Field. USA just has their number anytime they play away from the Azteca.
Too bad they can't send a top squad to Venezuela. I wonder how may US fans make that trip?
So, for some reason we were moving to Paris, an apartment overlooking a big square with lots of people. My oldest daughter immediately runs outside and starts climbing on the walls of the building next door spiderman style freaking out my wife. I remember wondering if those immigrant riots took part in this part of Paris last year, but we had already decided on the apartment. I had to go back to the US for something and when I was at the airport to fly back to France, I didn't get a boarding pass because they mispronounced my name so badly I didn't know they were calling me. Then when I belatedly go to get a boarding pass, something has happened to my lips, they're huge and hurt and I can barely talk, on top of that I look like those Mexican wolf people, the ones with a faulty gene that makes hair grow on their faces. So I had hair all over my face and my mouth was enormous. Since I didn't look anything like my passport picture they didn't give me a boardingpass. Then I woke up. Weird huh?

My 5 yr old PC is dying, I got it as a return at Circuit City at about half the sticker price (pentium 4 with a dvd burner, those were expensive 5 years ago) and it has served me well. I'm also a fan of the Dell refurbished site. Where else can I get a decent PC for cheap?
We're moving and I'm thinking of taking this opportunity to ditch cable for DSL and DirectTV. What's been your experience? I've had Adelphia's bankrupted cable service which was adopted by Time Warner and it's unreliable as hell, since I work from home it's a major headache.
Will DSL through SBC be more reliable?
Does DirectTV suffer in bad weather?

Twenty-five percent of Americans believe it is at least somewhat likely that Jesus Christ will return to Earth in 2007, a new poll from the Associated Press and AOL News shows.
The poll, conducted by the international polling firm Ipsos, looked at the public's predictions about what will occur in 2007.
Pollsters found that 11 percent of those surveyed said it is "very likely" that Jesus will return to Earth this year. An additional 14 percent said it was "somewhat likely."
Twenty-five percent of those polled said it was "not too likely,"
compared to 42 percent who said it was "not at all likely." Eight percent said they did not know or were not sure.
While a quarter of Americans polled said that it is at least somewhat likely that Jesus will return to Earth this year, views about the topic varied depending on religious persuasion, the AP reported.
For example, 46 percent of white evangelical Christians believe it's at least somewhat likely that Jesus will return this year, while 17 percent of Catholics and 10 percent of those with no religion feel the same way.
The poll, conducted Dec. 12-14, was based on telephone interviews with 1,000 adults from all states except Hawaii and Alaska
