2 - Sounds like too many coincidences to convince a jury. To prove you've been framed you would have to find out who did it and how they benefited doing it or you'll just sound like your garden variety disgruntled employee / asshole too clever for is own good or something like that. Brazil has a stellar record of not caring much what the US thinks or does.
