âoeWhy make the volume control go side-to-side? Because it does it that way on the phone screen. â
I havenâ(TM)t used the newest MacOS (pre-Mojave is the end of my experience), but the volume on iOS goes up and down. If they changed that it certainly was not to match phones.
My fridge was manufactured in 1982 you insensitive clod!
Snopes doesnâ(TM)t label satire as false, they simply label it as satire. However, if they did label it as false that would be fine since it would not be a true statement.
Pointing out that a satirical comment isnâ(TM)t a factual statement causes no harm and does nothing to censor or block satire, but someone believing a satirical comment to be factual reporting can result in harm. This is common sense and I would seriously question your intentions if this causes you to be âoefed upâ with Snopes.
This is not an issue of censorship as Snopes is not a censor and even if it was, you cannot yell fire in a crowded theater and claim it was satire.
I think you are looking too deep into it. Causing strife and distrust in the US benefits them without requiring anything as complex as manipulating the outcome of the election or hoping for a coup.
Because otherwise the King of England could just pop in the passenger seat any time he wants and start shoving you around! Do you want that?
Be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm.
Yeah but I think you would still have to confirm the subscribe button press. My phone wants a finger print scan (yes my phone is very old ha ha) or password to confirm a 99 cent purchase. This 4300 buck purchase does not? Either this owner is lying, has a magic butt, or part of this lies on the mobile OS.
âoeIf you are a gamer, you knew about it.â
Well I guess it depends on what all you mean by gamer but I play games and I had never heard of this before.
I was speaking only about whoever was hypothetically thinking along these lines âoe You might as well pull up footage of "The Great Dictator" and claim that Charlie Chaplin was spewing Hitler's propaganda....â. It wasnâ(TM)t actually intended to be directed at you but rather how far off the mark it would have to be to tick that box.
While I wasnâ(TM)t exactly agreeing with you, I certainly want disagreeing either. I was saying I donâ(TM)t think that is a realistic hypothetical, not that you were wrong.
I understand why Slashdot doesnâ(TM)t allow edits but when a post is misconstrued (which is incredibly easy without inflection or mannerisms) it is a bit annoying.
Unless you have actually seen The Great Dictator, of course. If you had, you would know precisely why it was censored in many circles and hated by the German government of the era. It would be quite a feat to watch that film and somehow be unclear of its message.
If you wish to be willfully ignorant of both the film and history, that is fine, but donâ(TM)t try and present that as some sort of universal human failing.
Though if you need to cook an egg after a Zoom meeting the Surface might be an excellent option!
The rule on staying alive as a program manager is to give 'em a number or give 'em a date, but never give 'em both at once.
