Yes and whenever I do connect (to an untrusted network that isn't mine) from my laptop or from my Android-based Samsung Galaxy S5, I use the latest stable OpenVPN client to connect to a VPN server on my Rasberry Pi at home.

No, I turned them off too after they started to get really annoying (video with sound). However, in light of this news about a silent install of a currency miner, maybe its time for me to switch to Qtorrent

Yes, I adjusted those settings a while ago, after uTorrent started showing video ads with audio. However, in light of this recent news about a silent install of Cryptocurrency miner, maybe its time for me to switch to something like Qtorrent.

Suddenly, I feel old. For some reason, I always feel that way about the death of an actor who portrayed a revered character that inspired me in my childhood.

*raises an eyebrow* Somehow I doubt it will be as good as the original. For one thing, the first was based on the PKD novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep", which raised thought provoking questions. What will the movie sequel be based on?...more of the same?

I didn't hear Apple complaining when they sued Samsung over a patent on a box with rounded corners. Maybe now these giant companies will band together and lobby for changes in the patent system.
