That's why I bought one, and how I learned of Tomato and dd-wrt when I looked for what to flash it with.
I run dd-wrt on a NetGear wndr3800 now, but I've got a couple WRT54s in a box in case of emergency ; )
I was gonna say the same thing, you beat me to it: +1 Quickdraw
If you didn't like Dune I seriously doubt you'd like Foundation.

yes
posting to remove inadvertent mod, was gonna hit funny, missed it by THAT MUCH!
I wasn't sure, hence I prefaced it with 'I believe'.
My mistake, no wind missed.
I believe a WHOOSH is in order here.

sorry, couldn't resist...
I learned PL/? (can't remember C or I) in the late 80's for my CS degree, never saw it outside the classroom.
I originally learned Fortran in the early 80's for my ME degree, used it some at USGS in the 90's and ADEQ in the 00's.
The semester I took Fortran was the last one that used punch cards, it was a pain but looking back now, it was a good experience for a historical perspective.

>> It is a bit tragic, because a lot of capable people invested a lot if time into Perl 6. It is still a failed project.
It could be considered a failed project, I suppose, but so was Multics, and the ideas and lessons learned from that helped to spawn Unix.
The road to success is paved with many failures... where did I hear that?
The Nurburgring is no parlor trick.
It's not called The Green Hell for lulz, although it is much, MUCH nicer now than it was when it earned that sobriquet.
umm, whut? Where did I say the report was second hand?
The event was a conference of some technical nature that Minsky and Gregory Benford attended, and at which Benford spoke with Minsky.
At least that was the event I was referring to.
Of course it could be a load of tripe, just like all the other poo being flung, but on the surface it appears legit and it should be fairly easy to confirm Mr Benford's attendance. (I know that still doesn't prove anything)
Minsky is unable to defend himself and I never said he was innocent.
It is interesting to hear from someone who was there and witnessed the event around which is so much speculation is being flung, kinda like your second sentence.
