I had the privilege of working on a project there for a few months. I have to say that the CSIRO is one of the institutions that Australians should be most proud of, but unfortunately, most have little idea of what it is or what kind of work goes on there.
Whatever you're working on, keep up the good work!
Nobody knew what it was, of course (yes, I asked, bad move if you cared whether Marketing liked you). I'd say it was—and is—a marketing meme trying to push its way into reality.
Good use of the em-dash there. Don't see much of it on here, but you do see a lot of unnecessary and nested parentheses.
This is a fair sentiment with regards to donated computers, but what about for computers that are paid for with the intent of selling at a profit? I'm talking about tested, working units that are late generation Pentium 4 and greater.
You can't tell me that there is no utility in these items and I won't for a second believe that a Ghanain trader would pay good money to purchase and then ship these containers overseas just so they can be scrapped.
And with only 14 years coverage, I suppose it would be ok to make my own closed fork of the linux kernel also?
Your closed fork would have to be from a 14 year old revision though. Linus is frequently adding and modifying the kernel source tree and the 14 year limitation would apply to any new works from the moment they are created.
So in other words, no, it would not be okay to make your own closed fork of the Linux kernel unless you want that closed fork to be of Linux as it was 14 years ago.
Compared to other varieties who are more than happy to tear away at flesh, that would explain why Obsidion pugs are so small. Cute little buggers though, and so helpful in surgery.
I hear there's a volcanic glass that also sharpens very well... maybe they should take a look at using those. Wouldn't make a mess in the operating theatre either.
Oh the fucking irony of it. I was trying to post the following using pre and code tags without success and just ended proving your point:
Sure. Because
def function(): if condition: while ok: do_something() end while end if end def Is much more readable than: def function(): if condition: while ok: do_something()
