Also they technically worked both sides, depending on who was paying more. They were officially neutral but each side used them.

Have a guy at work with that attitude.
He refuses to give blood, when asked he says "What have they done for me?".
Never really understood since with blood you're constantly making more of it. It's not like giving up a kidney that will affect you for the rest of your life and you can only do once. Not giving blood is just going to have some of it go to waste eventually; most common worst case is you feel lethargic the rest of the day and need to eat some extra calories/sugar.
I think he meant the latter.
Let us test this new drug, and if you live. But I think at that point we kinda get into the issues of ethically causing harm to living people.
Sorry dude, blame the studios for that.
They setup DRM type checks on BD movies, which requires updates to be able to play. It's why if you take a 4 year old BD player it wont play a recently released BD movie most likely.
Normally consoles are not as bad as PC when it comes to DRM, since the expectation is you won't be able to run it without the physical media. With the PC though that's not been the case for quite a while now, so they tack on game breaking DRM to try and make sure people cannot play the game.
I believe the management at Sony proper that was responsible for those issues has been replaced.
Remember over the past few years they have been laying off quite a few employees.
Similar, I got mine for the BD player, not so much to game. But still cannot see myself trading in my games. Fives years I may want to replay them.
Not really... It's not uncommon to see an RC aircraft referred to as a drone.
Generally they need to be unmanned, operate/fly under their own power, and require a human pilot. Once you get into the FAA legal ease there is a difference but mainly in pilot training.
You're right, there is no real difference save for size.
A craft like that will have an onboard flight computer to help with attitude positioning, and possibly even GPS; and FPV camera modifications are relatively cheap/easy to setup.
In the RC circle they usually are seen as drones and some have been impacted by those drone laws that get passed. Remote unmanned craft, operating under it's own power, with a human controlling it.
The laws saying people can shoot down drones; they also mean these type of craft too.
Community college is also having it's costs raises year after year.
And as for a job, it's be nice if they would let you work and go to school. Best you can do is some blue collar one which depending where you work they might switch your hours week to week.
Can't come into work because you got class? Well there is a line of people here who are unemployed and also not going to school that can work that shift; so are still not able to come in?
Well it does differ from one industry to another, but for IT yea, 4 years of many redundant classes is not needed.
Even some car mechanics are being expected to have 4 years degrees. I could understand if you were working for the actual car manufacturer and you had to write out techinal documentation, but to follow the pictured instructions of how to replace a steering rack; 4 years is overkill.
Also that rote memorization basically kills any semblance of a social life.
Eat, Sleep, Study everyday
I would say it's more an issue of the Government guaranteeing the loans.
No bank will give an unemployed adult, a $100k loan for a house; but for a College kid they will give them the same loan for some dead end degree with little to no earning power.
Also need to lower the demand for degrees in the private sector; they have become the new HS Diploma only you'll now be working a low wage job with tens of thousands of debt.
I was taught that too, it takes more effort and concentration to write then it does to type; as a result you'll retain more information if written then typed.
But this was over a decade ago so could be very outdated.
It is easier to change the specification to fit the program than vice versa.
