Tinfoil Hat!
For walking out of the front door. Seems as though there was some guy from 235 years ago that came up with the idea.
Go figure
Which would have been the perfect place to put it. Not your every day run of the mill helium balloon mind you, but something more along the lines of a weather balloon.
Up, Up and Away!
But can you move the soul?
Quite obvious how out of touch certain government officials really are. Not that it's news to anyone though. As is typical, they sit in their ivory towers and have become so out of touch with what the average citizen understands as reality, they they can't fight the battles they've been hired to fight.
Or maybe I'm just jaded?
Yeah, things are tough all over. Cities and states are starting to find out they need to generate some extra revenue now, so they try just about legal tactic they can. I'd have to say that this seems almost borderline legal though. A though of standing up in court and telling the judge that the officer was going to rape you just because he looks the type kind of amounts to the same thing.
And we're supposed to trust the government on this why?
Another version of Big Brother?
Regardless, the wind farms are a good move. They won't reduce our dependency on oil, but will help (albeit slightly) with the consumption of electricity from the grid. With the exception of some errant ship captain running his ship into one, there really isn't much to worry about. The installation and maintenance will provide jobs, and hopefully make that deceased, hypocritical nutjob Kennedy roll over in his grave (a perfect selling point for me).
I'm all for it.
Since I'm apparently not picking it for YOU, yes, it qualifies me to pick a winner "hands down" for me.
Next question?
You've got to be kidding me. From someone that has owned an HTC phone, I can tell you that the iPhone wins hands down as far as I'm concerned. HTC doesn't have a clue when it comes to cell phones, they offer glitz over function, and I'm not buying into the glitz thing, I want functionality.
Another sorry excuse for a cell provider. I've been going round and round with them ever since they bought out Alltel (I'm a former Alltel customer with an Alltel data plan). They can't seem to see the forest for the trees. Why should I put any faith in some new Idea they've come up with?
Including skipfish. While I haven't downloaded it, I have no doubt that something is being reported back to Google. Just as with any business practice, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Google advertising maybe? Possibly, whatever the reason, I doubt "Free" in this case really isn't "Free".
And Suf-Fuck (Suffolk) is not too far down the road.
You really have to love living in Virginia.
For cryin out loud, how did they not get in the game? They seems to be in every other corner of the government market! Don't take this as a whine as to why NG isn't in the game, I for one am glad that they aren't. I would much rather see more smaller companies in there working for "the greater good" as it were, than the big boys. But, the big boys have some good technology that they bring to the table, but they also bring a hefty price tag and probably some nasty rules too.
