No country on the planet is involved in more conflicts than the U.S.
This is provably false. Whether you are looking at current data such as the GPI, commonly cited information sources on current or past data such as wikipedia, or history books, the United States while involved or a primary participant in many wars and conflicts has neither been the most warlike, nor has it instigated most conflicts. I'm interested in if you actually learned this crap somewhere, or if it is just anti-US sentiment as you've expressed in your prior posts.
No country spends so much on Arms.
The US for the last couple of years has only been 14th or 15th in military spending per GDP. We are the biggest world superpower, so naturally we spend the most on defense, but a small amount of it is actually spent on arms. The majority of our military budget is atually for other things such as maintenance, facilities, training, and so on.
No country foments so much conflict.
As noted above, this is provably false. I'm happy to be proved wrong with facts from a reputable source.
and we're expected to accept that the US can be trusted in any way other than to make as much money for their Military Industrial Complex?
No one is expecting anything from you. This was a peaceful meeting between 50 countries, and the US was just one country involved in this. Why should anyone trust anyone? Why don't we all just blow each other up I guess is your point, or do you just prefer death to America?
In my mind, AI just means instead of tricking some poor Ukrainians into sacrificing themselves for the financial and geopolitical aims of the US, it'll be AI controlled robots instead.
The US didn't start the war. Russia did. The US didn't ask to be involved and was actually extremely hesitant to be. The Ukrainians pleaded with the US (and other countries) for assistance. To try and make it out to be like we set them up to go to war is provably false. Americans are standing with Ukraine, because it is the right thing to do. How exactly is sinking billions of our cash into Ukrainian aid helping us financially? Given that it has been a point of argument in US Congress that we are actually killing ourselves financially with the amount of money we are spending on aid, I'd be interested to hear your counter argument that explains how it is actually helping us financially.
