I own a PS3 and I watch blu-ray from Netflix on it all the time. I don't even have the remote and the interface is very nice. Also, due to how much horsepower the system has, it's one of the top players on the market. A friend of mine has both the PS3 and a standalone player (his parents), and I can honestly say that it's a wash as far as interface goes. The discs themselves pretty much determine that. Image quality wise, I can't tell the difference. Also, the 120hz TV causes a strange effect when you see blu-ray movies on it...almost feels like the movie is being fast forwarded.

Long post short: I have a PS3 and will not buy a standalone because the gaming console is just fine for playing movies.

Forget nano, my 4 year old processor was created using a 9000 femtometer process!

AMD is fabbing on the 45 nano meter process...or the 4.5 micrometer process if you will. Super small, but not nano yet. I think there are fabs getting down to the 25nm process, but that's still only micro.

And the billions spent on other crap could be used to buy me a private island. There are much bigger fish to whine about. If you want to see a waste of money, check out the auto industry.

Funny, I had the same thing happen to me, but with Verizon. Bills were $600, $800, and $1200 in my case. I'll never EVER purchase anything from Verizon ever again...ever...

Never formatted a USB key with NTFS? try it, you'll lose a lot if you just yank it when the light stops. Learned that the semi-hard way. Fortunately I was just transferring stuff between a desktop and laptop, so going back to the desky and re-copying wasn't a big deal.

They "might" be interchangable, but I'm not sure you "could" use them that way without confusion...

still, it's a bad idea to mess up your product...tends to piss off the customers.
