That was my expectation but am not super familiar with European holidays. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

I get 15 days vacation (with a bank that can hold 30) and 11 formal holidays. Nine years in and it goes to 20 days.
Do the Germany/France numbers include holidays or just vacation?
Can you imagine if Republicans did things like picket at judge's houses?
There have been folks protesting at Boston's Mayor's house for months. I'd speculate they're not left leaning.
Can you imagine if Republicans started leaking court documents to try and force a political opinion?!
To be fair, we honestly have no idea who leaked it at this point. Given the nature of the draft opinion, your suspicions are probably right but it would be nice to have it properly investigated before we just make accusations. I've read opinions that suggested it was Alito, Roberts, or I forgot which one of the left leaning judges who leaked it.
Clearly not many. I was stunned I got picked up in one. The Model 3 was alright and it made for a fun conversation at least as someone interested in getting an EV at some point.
Kind of surprised though that more of the professional drivers who are just doing Uber/Lyft gigs when they're free don't have them. Probably because of the limited SUV options in the space.
Curious how EV drivers would make out. I assume the math works better in their favor but I've only ever ridden in one EV from one of the rideshare services.
Most drivers don't make enough money long term. It's fine until you need major repairs and I would imagine rising gas prices also hit you. And I'm sure Uber wants a significantly larger cut than their work is really worth.
If they had more EV drivers, they actually might do better given their far greater efficiencies. But I've only ever ridden in one.
It also comes off as a crutch to the character and the actor because the perception I get is they think I wouldn't go watch a movie about a female secret agent without being her wrapped up in an already established franchise. It's just kind of insulting. Hanna and Atomic Blonde were dope. I need to see Long Kiss Goodnight and La Femme Nikita. Mixed feelings on Marvel properties (fatigue more than anything) but will probably eventually see Black Widow.
Are there ways to do a female James Bond? Sure. Is there much to be gained by it? Probably not. Given the unhappiness many Bond fans had at the dropping of the franchise formula in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace to see it brought back in Skyfall on, I'm sure they'll howl about those changes. Now I hated the formula because it got super stale and felt they proved they didn't need it but alas, they caved and I've yet to see No Time to Die as a consequence.
No worries. Just curious about it. I'm sure there's a lot of red tape that is also required too so I'm sure you're right that mothball and start new is probably easier. Thanks for the answer.
Interesting to know. I knew there were variations in oil quality among countries but didn't know that refineries were that wildly different and you couldn't just easily change processing to a different type.
Could refineries be modified to do it at significant cost? Or is that more trying to plug American plugs into European outlets?
I think having air superiority also matters. Clearly the Russians don't so it's even more difficult without infantry support.
Curious how American tanks would fair in a peer level exchange. I wonder if we would see similar challenges.
Agreed. Humans are all flawed and I enjoy the flawed nature of officiating as well. What really is the bad call rate in the majors? I enjoy seeing pitchers, catchers, and batters adjusting to different umps. I think if implemented, you'll see a much more boring game as things will migrate to whatever the numbers show is the optimal pitching approach under the robotic system.
I think that one of the challenges is that pitchers and batters both have to adjust how they execute over the season so that they're harder to predict. I think given that batters may vary their stances a bit - I'm curious how that would impact their preseason measurements and therefore the accuracy of the system.
Isn't MacMann just a new blindseer account?
Yeah. I'm fine with my pizza people getting healthcare for $0.25 a pie. Haven't ordered Papa Johns since. Quality had gone down for years and Dominos had just done a refresh so it was an easy choice. Once I got out of grad school and got a real job, I moved over to local places.
Yeah. That and comingled inventory can really screw a legitimate business with knockoff competitors. They really need to do more!
I'm not in the car market currently but the only reason I would want a taller car over my sedan is so I can see past the huge fucking vehicles other folks are driving. It's insanely difficult seeing past them.
I guess the only nice part of waiting to replace my car is that I get to see how the electric vehicle market changes in the next couple years.
