Well its been rumored for a while that Microsoft would release the RTM build tomorrow, so this probably is it.

Add Cave Story (2004) to that list. It's one of the only good recent 2D platformers I've seen that is NOT based off an old platformer.

Just put a flash jumper on the motherboard that must be set to be able to flash the BIOS. Seems to completely solve the problem.

Hmm, what else do we need to remove?
First of all, Notepad has to go, but even more importantly we need to lose that OpenOffice killer Wordpad.

Paint has to go too. Maybe Adobe will finally see some Photoshop sales when that happens.

Actually, it might just be easier to lose the entire Accessories folder. But that still leaves built in Zip archive support. So it seems our only solution is to remove Windows Explorer! We can kill two birds with one stone there, as now people will also have a choice of desktop environment.

Oh crap, I just realized that Windows forces people to use FAT, FAT32, or NTFS. We need more choice of file system. Hmm... well I guess this only means one thing. We need to have Microsoft remove the Windows kernel! That will make competition perfectly fair for absolutely everyone (...except Microsoft... but no one cares because they are the spawn of the devil...)

Even pirated copies of Windows can get patches. Microsoft wants everyone to have a fully patched system because of the massive problems infected computers can cause.

I have the same problem with Far Cry 2. If you're running in widescreen, the screwed up FoV could be part of your problem. This tool will let you fix it http://tocaedit.com/forum/dload.php?action=file&file_id=119

It also helps to turn down the graphics settings to get rid of the head killing blurring effects. I think I got rid of that by going to DX9 mode and setting the post effects to low.

Of course your best option is just to not play it. It's a bad game. I don't think I ever would have had the will to finish it if I didn't get a trainer so I could walk super fast.

My high school did almost the same thing. If you failed any of the first 3 marking periods with a grade below 50%, it would be bumped to 50%. For the 4th marking period and the final however, the grade would not be changed.

I don't see an issue with this grade bumping. It prevents one bad marking period from completely screwing a student over. I know it saved my ass a couple of times (English and French...blah....)
