Shuttle Reentry Over the Continental US 139

TheOtherChimeraTwin notes that the shuttle Discovery will land at Kennedy Space Center on Monday morning at 8:48 EDT. The craft will make a rare "descending node" overflight of the continental US en route to landing in Florida. Here are maps of the shuttle's path if is lands on orbit 222 as planned, or on the next orbit. Spaceweather.com says: "...it takes the shuttle about 35 minutes to traverse the path shown... Observers in the northwestern USA will see the shuttle shortly after 5 am PDT blazing like a meteoric fireball through the dawn sky. As Discovery makes its way east, it will enter daylight and fade into the bright blue background. If you can't see the shuttle, however, you might be able to hear it. The shuttle produces a sonic double-boom that reaches the ground about a minute and a half after passing overhead."

Religion is relevant to history and is any version of it that totally excludes religion is false. These Texans seem to like using God like a bludgeon, however. This always turned me off because it betrays the ideals it would otherwise seem to uphold--not to mention the commandment about not taking the Lord's name in vain.

Also, I think the word you're looking for is "drivel". Dribble is something done in basketball or while you eat (if you're a sloppy eater).

Proof of citizenship is a little more involved than simply checking a list. You forget that in the Land of the Free, anyone that is born here has a birthright to citizenship. Birth doesn't guarantee inclusion in any supposed lists of citizenry.

You forgot about the nuclear bombs. Why sire a new society when you can just vaporize it? I suppose you'll try to make another comparison regarding civility and how it matters in how "bad" or "worse" one war is than another. When you do, don't forget to blame Islam.
