OEMs should install Firefox as the default browser instead of Chrome. You still have Edge because of Windows 10 or 11 but it's not default.

Seriously? People don't prefer bloated security-holed costly MS Office, it's been shoved in to their brains since school. How often have you ever seen an alternative in the educational system? Until the rise of Chrome books, there was none let alone others mentioned. People use what is on their computers and that is what they are used to.

Personally, I don't see why anyone would put up with all the crap W10 & W11 has. Linux just works without all the b.s. Microsoft keeps including with their bloatware OS.

When I first read the /. story I thought 'wait a second, could this be Eve Online related?' I used to play that game, though came in to it a couple years after the first really epic space battle mentioned in the original story.
