When Google was a much smaller company this would have made sense but when you employ 100k+ people, you aren't getting just the cream of the crop. One's co-worker is just as likely to be indistinguishable from any rando on the street and with concomitant terribly though out political opinions. Flooding the internal dialog with that ends in the inevitably predictable counter productivity. Google finally figured that out.

It's this kind of hyperpartisan idiocy that makes the propogation of fake news so easy. A study came out in the real news recently (you probably missed it) that shows the engagement and sharing of fake news is actually an extremely tiny subset of the overall population, not "half". If you spend just a few minutes of thought you'd realize that's what you should rationally expect. There is always a small segment of people that will still be convinced by even the most ludicrous of beliefs like flat earth, bigfoot, the "other tribe" are all bad and stupid.

Yep. I have two laptops running 10 and couldn't tell you which version even though I know the two devices are on different updates. Don't care either as long as I can open Steam since that's the only thing windows is good for these days.

I've gotten 15 mod points every other day this week and now I finally have a use for one I'm fresh out.
